Unit 8: Films

et is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

The some rules for pedestrians: always look carefully where you go, walk across the street at the zebra crossing, wear white or light-coloured clothes in the dark, use the pavement or footpath, wait for the trafic light to turn green before you cross the street.

The some rules for drivers: always fasten your seatbelt when you drive, don't drive if you feel tired or after you drink alcohol, don't park in front of a zebra crossing, strictly obey traffic signals.

The some rules for cyclists and motorist: always keep both hands on the handle bars, always wear a helmet when you ride a motorbike, give a signal before you turn left or right, use front and back lights at night, don't carry a passenger in front of you.

my favorite movie is tom and jerry. it's about a dumb and clumsy cat who always wants to catch a mouse named jerry but he can never catch a pine mouse. Each of those cat movies presents new tricks .when the mouse gets tricked, but most of it gets rid of it. this movie is very entertaining and also a bit of a skill life force (I think so) it's really funny. Whenever I'm stressed, I feel more comfortable and comfortable when I watch it. I love this drama !!

Cartoon is favorite subject of all kids around the world. Especially, Tom and Jerry film impresses me with its funny detail and interesting action. The film is about a cat and a mice, they hate each other and always find many pranks to play. The two main characters seem to live in a house with different owner. Tom is much bigger than Jerry but he is quite stupid and aggressive. On the contrary, Jerry is smart and flexible as he always knows how to get away with Tom’s making trouble. Beside, there are other actors such as: a dog, a yellow bird, a seal or even a cute baby. Finally, after many tricks, they come back to love and forgive other’s mistake for a better life. The movie is famous for its various incidents, attractive appearance as well as meaning suitable for children. When I was a child, I watch Tom and Jerry everyday; therefore, it becomes a vivid memory about my childhood. Although there are hundreds of episodes, the cartoon is not boring or repetitive. One episode tells us one different story and teaches children many lessons in life. The movie teaches people how to get on well with others, love and freely share inside thought to another. Since cartoon plays a crucial role in kid’s soul and their process to grow up, it is necessary to maintain and develop the film making industry.

Of all the film I have seen Doraemon is the one I like best. Doraemon is a cartoon film. It is about a robotic cat named Doraemon , who travels back in time from the 22nd century to help a schoolboy, Nobita Nobi. It is made in Japan. The main characters are Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka, Gian and Sueno. Doraemon is an itelligent robotic cat, Nobita is a clumsy student, Shizuka is a pretty girl, Sueno is a rich kid and Gian is selfish and violent. The film has a happy ending.
