My Favourite Film

I have seen many good films and some bad ones. If I had to choose only one to recommend, it would be Painkiller Jane.

Jane, the main character, is a young soldier. While she is on a mission with other soldiers, her unit is exposed to the virus and everybody except her is killed. She recovers from her injuries sooner than expected. The virus gave her an ability to heal herself from any kind of injury. For this the reason is the army trying to hunt her down and create nearly immortal troops. In the end she manages to escape and she starts new life.

All in all, I think that this film is great for sci-fi fans. I love sci-fi because for me it is the best way to relax. Something looks ugly but with help of computers some unreal situations look pretty real so you think it can really happen. If you are sci-fi fan, I recommend that you watch Painkiller Jane.

Now, I live in..... My town has a lot of traffic problems. Firstly, there are many traffic jams. They are so terrible. Secondly, my town has traffic accidents beacause many young people ride their bikes dangerously and many people don't wear helmets.Next, the most popular traffic problems in my town is " many people disobey the traffic rules". Furthermore, my town has a lot of narrow and bumpy roads. Finally, there are many vehicle on the roads. I hope we will have some solutions to avoid traffic problems.

The big city where I live and some other places have some traffic problems. One of the traffic problems is that there are too many traffic jams every day, so there are many traffic accidents too. Secondly, some people don’t obey the traffic laws. In addition, there are too many people using the road and too many vehicles, while the roads are narrow and bumpy. In short, there are some traffic problems in big cities. The street should be wider and everyone should obey the traffic rules strictly.

My favorite movie of all time is Titanic. It is the best love story I have ever watched. I watched this movie many times but I never got tired watching it. Whenever I watch it, I always cry.

The reasons I like it so much are the grand scenery and the romantic content. The film is about the love story of Rose Dewitt Bukater and Jack Dawson. Jack was a free-spirited poor young man but he got a ticket for a luxurious ship, Titanic. Rose was from the American upper class and was engaged to a man. She was reluctant to marry him. She met Jack in Titanic and they fell deeply in love even there was a huge gap between them.

Titanic was headed to America from England. However, the ship crashed into an iceberg on the way. The side of it broke up and the ship was flooded. Not everyone could escape safely. Many people dead include Jack. Rose was survived because Jack helped her to climb on a boat. Jack sacrificed himself for Rose. Although It was only a classical sad love story, it encompassed a large range of emotions, laughter, rage, terror and the feeling of deep love. I was touched and especially appreciate the love between them. They both tried to save each other. It showed the power of love could do everything.

I think the movie had the exellent content which was based on a real story. The two main actor and actress Leonardo and Kate had an outstanding performance. Beside, the scenery and the stage properties really made me amazed. From the big ship to the small cushions at Rose’s room, they were all delicate. Last but not least, the great theme song “My heart will go on” by Celine Dion marked the end of the story. Even Jack leave Rose forever, her heart will keep going on.

This is the best movie I have ever watched. No wonder why Titanic already won 11 Academy Awards. I recommend that everyone should watch this movie at least once.

Doraemon is one of my favorite comics, written by Fujiko Fujio. This is a famous comic book, adapted into many diferent kinds such as animated films, plays and short stories. The main character is Doraemon cats from the 22nd century to help Nobita, the lubberly boy. His duty is to help Nobia overcome troubles by using magical decorations. In addition, Doraemon and his team including Nobita, Xeko, Chaien and Xuka also join in the adventuous journey to the new land that is exciting and also dangerous. Through the pages, we see a beautiful and pure friendship. The first time I read Doraemon was in the second grade, since then, the book has been with my childhood, creating beautiful memories.

What is the festival you attended? Describe it

My family and I attended the Buffalo – fighting Festival in Do Son last year. This festival is held every year, on August 9^th according to Lunar calendar. The Buffalo – fighting Festival is held to remember the merits of gods, maintain the village discipline, to play for the prosperity and happiness for the local people. People played drum, danced and watched the buffalos. The drum sound and the scream of people urge the buffalo to play in a fierce way. Many buffalo owners, local people and tourists came to the festival. The festival was really fascinating and amazing.

In the future, there will be high-speed train. The train will go around the city. It’s driverless train. It will use electric and solar-powered. It will look like an airplane without wings. It will help people to travel faster and safer.
