\(=\left(x+1\right)\left(x^2+x+2\right)\)

b) \(=\left(x-y\right)^2-\left(a-b\right)^2=\left(x-y+a-b\right)\left(x-y-a+b\right)\)

= x³+x²+x²+x+2x+2

= x²(x+1)+x(x+1)+2(x+1)

= (x+1)(x²+x+2)

b) x²-2xy+y²-a²+2ab-b²

= (x²-2xy+y²)-(a²-2ab+b²)

= (x-y)²-(a-b)²

= (x-y+a-b)(x-y-a+b)
