People say that book is the endless source of knowledge, and luckily my favorite activity in my free time is reading books. I read many different kinds of books, such as science fiction, documentary, and horror stories. I live in two different worlds, the first one is my daily life, and the second one in is in the books. I can spend hours reading about a thrilling adventure, a remarkable discovery, or a magical journey. I find those details become more and more realis when I am deep in to them, and I can experience another fascinating world. Among many books that I have read, my favorite series is Harry Potter. The story is about a little wizard with his great journey to destroy the dark force. I have been reading books since I was a kid; therefore I have a rich imagination and plenty of ideas about almost everything. Everyone has his or her own hobby, and I am glad that I spend my free time and my mind on something that is very helpful.

I have a silent hobby, and it is listening to music. Except for the time in class, I put on headphones in most of occasions. I listen to music on break time, while I am on the bus, when I am doing my homework; and I only take them off when somebody seems to talk to me. My mood changes according to which songs is being played, pop songs bring happiness and joy, rock songs bring excitement, and country songs bring peace to my soul. People consider I am an introversive and quiet person, because I am always on my headphone. My mother tells me to have more interaction with my friends, but actually I have a lot of friends that share the same hobby. Sometimes we gather together to exchange information about singers, songs, and their photographs. It is great that my hobby does not bother anyone, and I can have more friends to enjoy it with me.

Becoming knowledgeable is also a great benefit of using Internet. I spend a lot of time on the Internet for reading news. All latest news is continuously up-to-date on the Internet on various news sites. I often visit E-newspaper websites to read hot daily news. I can know everything such as current issues that happen in this world, what happen to our country, celebrities life, recent fashion, and other news that can enhance my knowledge. I would rather using Internet for updating news because it is available everywhere at anytime.
In conclusion, people increasingly spend their leisure time using Internet because it is a helpful tool where people can learn new things and keep informed of information around the world. Internet turns the world into the speed generation. As the Internet saves us much time, we can have enough time to do other things. The internet is a marvelous creation in this generation.

There are many activities that people do in their free time to relax their stressed mind. Among long list of varios activities, there is one I’m interested in, that is travelling – an informative and adventurous hobby which is also one of the most popular pastimes . Traveling has been a core component of my life since I was a very young . For some it is a waste of time and money. They argue to use an alternative and read a book or watch a film related to places to be travelled. They forget that touch of actuality gives a different type of sensation and satisfaction . There is no doubt that a person gets more life experience by walking a mile than reading an entire book. It’s a feeling of freedom. You can make new friends, get rid of day to day frustrations, and give yourself some time to experience something new. Travelling is a perfect educational hobby as it helps you learn a lot of new things in life. Travelling gives you a great break from your routine and an opportunity to learn a new culture and make friends. The people you come across and interact with may give you some new chances in life, or they may open up your mind.
