Give the correct form of the verbs.
Last month, I attended a reunion of students who had been on the same course as me at university ten years earlier. When I left university, I didn't keep in touch with many people - just my closest friends and one or two of the lecturers - so I (1. not know) who or what to expect. When I arrived at the hotel where the reunion was being held, most of the guests (2. already / arrive). They 3. (chat) in small groups, or in the queue for food, or at the bar.
