Today if there is any institution which has the greatest influence on us after the family, it is the school. The time that we spend in school are not only time spent in learning and filling our minds with knowledge, but also time spent forming our character, acquiring various attitudes and imbibing basic principles of life. The basic traits of our personality are formed during our school days.
The name of my school is Nam Cao Secondary School. It is situated in Ha Nam Province . It is considered to be one of the finest schools in the city, highly acclaimed for its excellent for number of talented students. The school building is an impressive structure. It consists of four three – floor blocks and has about 12 classrooms. Classrooms are spacious and airy.
Two staircases at both ends lead to the floors. The school has a well-equipped library, a well- established science laboratory and two excellent computer room, all of which are situated on the a separate block.
There is an area for learning physical education and sports. Two cemented basketball courts stand in the right corner, while the school’s football field is in the center of the area. On the left center, there are two courts for badminton and volleyball. A small garden full of flower plants surrounds the school building adding to the charm and beauty of the entire complex.
My school has over 400 students. Our headmaster is an experienced and efficient person who has been at his job for the last 25 years and more. Under his able direction, the school has been obtaining many good result and gain the dispute in the city. The teachers here are well-experienced and knowledgeable in their subjects.
A lot of emphasis are given to character formation, moral education and acquiring good values of life. Although the school environment is rather strict and time-table based, but there is lot of fun and joy in the school. Matches, tournaments, musical shows, competitions, events, etc. make my school life lively, interesting and enjoyable.
I am proud to be a student of Nam Cao Secondary school.

My high school is located in a small village of a countryside; therefore it is not very big and modern. There are only about one thousand students from grade ten to twelve studying in 16 classrooms, and we have go to school at different hours in a day so there will be enough rooms. Around the school is an empty grass field which will soon be projected as a part of our school, and we hope our little sisters and brothers can have a bigger and more comfortable school to study. The gate is very old and rusty, but it can still keep the students from running outside of the school during break time. Next to the gateway is the parking lot where we park all of our bikes. There are many trees and flowers which have been planted through many generations of students, and today we still keep on planting more of them to have a greener space. Those trees bring a lot of shades to us, which also provide us an ideal playground on break time and after school. There is a small soccer field in the corner, and most of the time the boys have to fight in order to play on it. We do not have a room specialized for studying sports, so we spend our Physical education class right on the school yard. The walls are painted in a light yellow color, but some parts of them had become flaked off due to the impact of time. Despite being old, my school is always clean and tidy thanks to the effort of both students and teachers. We try our best to keep the school as a healthy and friendly environment for everyone. It is not the best school someone can find, but it is still the beloved place for many generations of students include me.

Xung quanh trường là một bãi cỏ trống sắp sớm được quy hoạch để làm thành một phần của trường học, và chúng tôi hy vọng những người em của mình có thể học trong một ngôi trường lớn hơn và thoải mái hơn. Cổng trường đã rất cũ và rỉ sét, nhưng nó vẫn có thể ngăn được học sinh chạy ra bên ngoài trong giờ ra chơi. Kế bên cổng trường là một bãi giữ xe nơi chúng tôi đậu tất cả xe đạp của mình. Có rất nhiều cây và hoa cỏ được trồng qua nhiều thế hệ học sinh, và ngày nay chúng tôi lại tiếp tục trồng thêm nhiều cây nữa để có thể có được một không gian xanh hơn. Những cái cây đó đem lại cho chúng tôi rất nhiều bóng tâm, và cúng cho chúng tôi một sân chơi lý tưởng trong giờ ra chơi và sau giờ học. Có một sân bóng nhỏ trong góc sân, và hầu hết thời gian các bạn nam phải tranh nhau để được chơi ở đó. Chúng tôi không có phòng chuyên dành cho thể thao, vậy nên chúng tôi học giờ Giáo dục thể chất của mình ngay trên sân trường. Các bức tường được sơn màu vàng nhạt, và đôi chỗ đã bị bong tróc dưới tác động của thời gian. Mặc dù ngôi trường cũ kĩ, nó vẫn luôn sạch sẽ và ngăn nắp nhờ vào nỗ lực của cả học sinh và giáo viên. Chúng tôi cố gắng để giữ trường học là một môi trường lành mạnh và thân thiện cho mọi người. Nó không phải là ngôi trường tốt nhất mà một người có thể tìm được, nhưng nó là nơi yêu thương của rất nhiều thế hệ học sinh, trong đó có tôi.
