THE LOVE OF THE ROSE
Once upon a time, in a certain country, there was a very talented king. He led many wars against foreign invaders. He is Kliet. He has a beautiful wife and an equally intelligent daughter. However, King Kliet still did not trust her and thought for sure that the throne would not belong to Princess Maria. The princess was nineteen years old, but the king had not yet let his child go out of the palace to play, so Maria was very sad. One day, she sneaked her parents out for a walk. She ran to the house of a friend of Queen Sofie. She is a kind, compassionate and loving person. She knew Maria's wish, so she lent the young girl a horse to travel.
Maria was so happy, she ran around the country. So bored, the princess went to the border of a neighboring country. After walking for a while, I saw a magnificent castle. At first glance, she immediately saw a handsome, blond-haired Prince sitting in the palace. He also saw her and immediately went out to ask about her whereabouts. He is Prince Deperts. Knowing the Princess's wish, he invited her to the palace. The King of this country is old and always wants Prince Deperts to quickly marry someone, because he is sick and will not be able to see him again in a few months.
Maria understands Deperts. Anyway, to please the King, Deperts still brought the little princess to the king. Upon learning of her whereabouts and kind heart, the king ordered Deperts to immediately hold a wedding with Princess Maria. She was scolded and slapped by her Father for fear of danger for her, but she still did not dare to confess what happened today. The only thing about that kingdom was a red rose, which she picked right at the entrance. But who would have thought that the next day, the King of the neighboring country and Prince Deperts came to the palace to ask Maria to marry him. She was very shocked.
But the King was so happy, because she would become the Queen of that country, he could give this throne to someone else. The two negotiated for a while and then decided that the wedding would take place tomorrow. On the last night of her stay at the palace, Maria asked her father:
-Father, I have gone to that kingdom, who will I marry to succeed your throne?
-Oh, I'll let Mr. Blin do it.
Blin is Mr. Kliet's younger brother. The princess was extremely happy and immediately went with her servants to steam and clean her gorgeous wedding dress.
Early the next morning, she was woken up by a kiss. Opening her eyes wide, she saw that everyone was crowded, just waiting for her to wake up and the wedding would take place. Delighted in happiness, she asked him:
-Why does he like me?
-Because I picked a rose. It is a symbol of love.
