   I am a volunteer so I have done many things for the community service. Last month, I raised money and funds for the poor, and they were very hapy. I also donated books and clothes for the children. Last week, I provided houses and food for the homless, and they looked very happy, too. So far, I , and my classmates, have planted trees and beautiful flowers in the school yard. It was so great. I have collected the rubbish on the beach and in the sea then I recycle them. It helps protectthe environment. And I, together with my family, often go to the hospital to help every one there. They are so freindly and they seem very happy when they see us. Volunteering is very good and special to me 'cause I can help others. I 'll do more in the future.

I've been a volunteer for over three years. I'm not forced or paid to do it, I enjoy it. Once or twice a week, usually on weekends, I teach English and Math to poor children. My friends and I also encourage other people to donate books to them. We also tutor some young children who can't go to school.

The 25th meeting of the FAO Committee on Fisheries COFI that will take place in February 2003 comes at a (1)....... time in the quest for sustainable fisheries. Meeting in Johannesburg at the world Summit on Development in 2002, world leaders (2)...... the vital Role of marine fisheries to cconomic and food and security and to biodiversity in general. Leaders established number of fisheries commitmemrs for the world community (3)...... a call " to maintain or restore stocks to levels that can produce maximum sustainable (4)....... with the aim of achieving these goals for depleted stocks on an unrgent basis and where possible nót later than 2015".

The mission of FAO in the field of fisheries is to (5)...... and secure the long-term sustainable development and utilization of the world's fisheries and aquaculture. Many of the issues (6)...... the agenda for the 2003 COFI meeting will contribute directly to the goal of restoring depleted fish stocks and to (7)..... other commitmemrs.
