Language development is grounded in imitation. Babies (4)acquire language by listening to those around them and then copying the sounds and speech (5)schemes that they are exposed to. Most child psychologists are of the (6)notion that babies respond better to ‘baby talk’ - speech that is(7) high pitched and melodious. They stress, however, that baby talk should be spoken in(8) moderation and that a combination of baby talk and normal conversation is the ideal way to promote language development.

In contrast to people living before us, we have a real chance to see the most modern machines. And one of them is television. It is often used for watching news instead of telephone, newspaper, radio… What a convenient machine! However, some people think that TV news should be a mixture of good and bad news. I totally agree with this statement.

The reason for that statement is the most of TV news is bad news: wars, famines, accidents and crime. Some news that make us sympathize with difficult lives and develop our kindness, such as Transcaned Yourself program, African famine news,.... So, why do I think TV news need renewing?

Firstly, life is so modern now that anything should be diversified. Therefore, adding more good news to TV news is necessary. It absolutely can happen, so why don't we do it? It not only provides us with knowledge but also make us feel relaxed and entertain after a stressful working day.

Secondly, the good news will attract children instead of making them think that TV news is for adults. And then, they like watching TV news better than fastening their eyes on telephone.

Lastly, the bad news makes us have such a pessimistic view of life. So a mixture of good and bad news helps us feel optimistic and live actively. That is a good way to make our daily lives better.

In conclusion, bad news doesn’t affect us adversely, but in order to attract more audiences, TV news should be a mixture of good and bad news. It's essential for a morden life.
