Dinh Le festival is held in Truong Yen village. It takes place on the 10th of the third Lunar month annually (hoặc every year). It is celebrated by Hoa Lu District people's committee. It is a very wonderful and meaningful festival. It is in memory the Kings of Dinh and Le dynasties. People display and decorate the temples with lots of flowers and flags. It lasts for 3 days with an offering of incence and many traditional activities.
Write a letter about the festival you attended.

Dear Linh,
I am so happy to write to you again. How are you? I feel so great because I have just experienced an interesting holiday. Can you guess? Let me tell you about it. Easter is one of the most important festivals in western countries. It is a holiday to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the death. Easter holiday changes every year. It may fall between 23rd March and 25th April. There are many exciting activities on this day. The most interesting one is decorating Easter eggs. My twin brothers and I decorated many colorful eggs. I myself drew ten eggs with blue background and some small colorful flowers as well. My brothers painted all their eggs with red zigzag lines. They said red is the color of Jesus’ rebirth. On that day, we also joined in egg rolling races in our large garden. Mike, one of my twin brothers, played skillfully and won all the races. Finally, we participated in the Egg Hunt. This is one of the most popular games played with Easter eggs.Unluckily I only won one in three games because I only found 20 eggs in total. I know it is spring, the season of traditional Festivals in Vietnam now. I believe they are also very interesting. Can you tell me about them? Are there many traditional activities? And what are they? Now, I have to finish all my homework after the interesting holiday. I am really curious about your festivals in your country.
Write to me soon.
Sincerely,
Alice

Now,I'm tell you about the festival in my country-Tet
Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked, offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar .First-footing is made when the visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

The Vietnamese people celebrate the New Year ( Tet) on the first three days of January according to the Lunar calendar. To prepare for Tet,these days, they often paint their houses. They buy a lot of fresh fruit, flowers and make many delicious dishes. They make sticky rice cakes because they are their traditional cakes.People who work a long distance away try to get home on these days.On the first day of Tet,people often offer these good fruit and food to their ancestors and after that the whole families enjoy the food. They also visit pagodas, temples, their relatives and friends.Children are very happy to get lucky money from the adults. There are a lot of traditional games and contests at Tet such as rice-cooking, fire-making, water-fetching, buffalo-fighting, ect. They are really interesting.
