I've learnt English since grade sixth. It's not soon but it's also not late with me to learn English. English is very important when you want to find a job. It's one of the competition with other candidates when you want to work in a professional environment. Luckily, I know that and I've tried to learn English since I was a student. In my opinion, listening and writing are the most difficulties, talking and reading is easier a little bit. To learn vocabulary well, I usually take note the new words and repeat any time I'm free or have chance. To listen English well, I listen more and more, watch the films that have English subtitle or listen to English songs. To talk English well, I often talk day by day with my friends, specially I make friends with some foreigners and talk with them. And finally, to read and write English well, I have to know new words as much as possible, otherwise I have to learn grammar very well. It's all my experience about learning English but now my ability in English is not good as I want. Thanks for reading my essay.

English is an international language. It is very popular in the world. Therefore, I like to learn English very much. There are many reasons for learning English but I have three main reasons for it: find a good job, communicate with foreigners and especially catch up with the age. Firstly, We learn English to find a good job easily after graduation from college. I think it is right. If we want to work in foreign companies with high salary, first of all we have to know to use English. We have to write CV in English and speak english to employer in an interview that required. And I am sure that if we are good at English and a little experience in work we get, we will have a good job with high salary that we always want. Secondly, communicating in English with foreigners is very useful. Actually, We have many opportunities to learn and understand clearly about differences between British and American English. Moreover, they will correct us when we make mistakes in using words in English. That helps us improve English very much. Thirdly, We are living in the era of information technology. Therefore, we have to use personal computer in our work. And if we know English, we can read and understand programs in English easily. Moreover, we can read English News to know what happening in the world, listen to our favourite English songs or play games in free time. And it is very useful for us to relax after hard working days. Learning English brings us many opportunities to catch up the age. We can broaden knowledge and study many things from it. We can know about cultures, manners and customs from many countries in the world. Therefore, right now we have to study English to prepare for our lives in the future. And We always hope we can do everything if we try to best. That makes us successful in life.

Recognizing the crucial role of English as the key to open the door of globalization is one of the reasons why I study English. The desire of discovering the new lands, additionally, promotes my expectation of mastering this international language. I consistently assume that after acquiring language, the society features, culture and people then will be exposed apparently. Through this writing, I hope that some of my learning English experience can be shared. Personally, I find it very enjoyable to learn English through music and jokes. Studying while playing is regarded as the most effective and straightforward method since everyone can apply it. Listening to the English songs of The Beatles, Kate Perry or Taylor Swift combined with glancing at its lyrics is really helpful for me. Likewise, humor from funny stories obviously can encourage my learning attitude. On the other hand, sociolinguistics including slangs and idioms along with shift in pronunciation of the native such as gliding, assimilation, etc are the big obstacles for learners including me. I suppose that there can not be a shortcut on the way to master a language; hence, practice makes perfect, I have been putting my endeavor to enhance my English competence.
