English is my favourite subject. English is not difficult to learn, you just need to work hard to gain good results. It’s the fact that English is the most common language spoken in the world, and studying it brings me lots of opportunities. First of all, being good at English, I can talk with foreign people and tourists, which expand my knowledge about each culture in the world. Besides, English documents provides a more accurate and original source of information. As a result, reading them, I can gain a deep knowledge in any field such as science, economics,… Furthermore, I can watch films, read news in English without subtitle. In the future, after graduating, with English skill, I can join international organizations or multi-national corporations and have a good career. It’s also a common sense that people who know English will have a higher salary than the others with a same job. I want to go abroad to study as well so English is necessary. In conclusion, English is an interesting subject and quite important for my future.
As a secondary student, I had to study many subjects but my friends used to advise me to concentrate more and more on Science and Maths. But somehow or other, English has become my favourite subject. My friends, relatives and even my parents were advising me that there is nothing new to learn in the English Language and I was wastng my time on English. Whatever the advice may be - English still my favourite subjects.
Reading as a hobby itself is a great pleasure. English has a wealth of literature unsurpassed by any other language. Study it enables me to enjoy the language. Studying more about Shakespeare. Shawn, Keat and Hard gives me an insight into huấn nature. I have come to realise how a man world react to a given set of circumstates or actions. The more I real, the more I learn in between the lines.
My love for the subject has inspired me so much that I may one day White my own play. As a scholar rightly pointed out that reading enobles man, make one more tolerant to the follies of others and bridges the gap between countries and cultures, I hope that it will do so for me too.
