Nearly 30 years after René Goscinny's death (in 1977), René's daughter Anne Goscinny and Jean-Jacques Sempé published two new collections of Nicolas' Nicolas: Nicolas: Histoires inédites du Petit Nicolas) with two episodes published in 2004 and 2006, which have appeared in newspapers but have never been published in books before. In September 2009, on the 50th anniversary of the release of the film, a film of the same name adapted from Nicolas to be released in September 2009. [2]
