The effects of overpopulation are quite severe. Most of the environmental damage being seen in the last fifty years is because of the growing number of people on the planet. The first of these is running out of recources. The Earth can only produce a limited amount of water and food, which is falling short of the current needs. Natural energy sources (coal, oil gases) will also be used up if we do not find alternatives sources soon.
Rise in the number of vehicles and industries has badly affected the quality of air. Rise in amount of C02 emissions leads to global warming. Melting of polar ice caps, changing climate patterns, rise in sea level few of the consequences that we might we have to face due to environment pollution
