Cuong Temple is associated with a legend in the history of the nation's anti-foreign aggression. The temple worshiped Thuc An Duong Vuong - a king who had great merit in the beginning of the country. The Cuong Temple Festival is held on the second full moon of the lunar year, which attracts many people to attend. After many years of forgetting, in 1993, Cuong temple festival was restored. Since then, the festival has been maintained every year and becomes an indispensable spiritual and cultural activity of Nghe An people and cross-country tourists.
