The bru-Van Kieu people has a population of about 74,500 people. They mostly live in Quang Binh ,Quang tri,Thua Thien-Hue.Their languge is Mon-khmer group .They growing rice,teraced field ,raising cattle and poulty for living. They have ceremony held before sowing seeds.

Bru-Van Kieu men have long hair, bun, bare, loincloth. Previously, they often used sui bark as a loincloth and coat. Bru-Van Kieu women wear blouses and skirts.
