After school is a very good time for all the students to rest! Uhm... When I get away from the school, I will meet my friends to play football. I always do that except for Sunday. I like to run with the ball, I like to kick and I like to talk and laugh with my friends. Then, I will go home to help my mom with the housework. I'm a bit bored and tired of it, but I still have to do. Haizzz... Next, I will eat a very very very delicious dinner. Of course, it's made from my mom. After having a very very very delicious dinner, I will do my homework. I often spend two hours doing it. And at the end of the day, I will go to bed, to rest, to sleep, to dream.

In my opinion, the favorite subject of one student can partly reflect his or her personality. For example, people who love Math tend to have logical thoughts, people who love Arts are usually the creative ones, and people who love Chemistry like to explore and research. In that way of logic, people may know that I love Literature because I am a gentle girl who always has a lot of thoughts and words. I love spending time to read extra poems and stories of the authors in my textbooks. The ones that we study at school are usually just small parts of their works, and they cannot satisfy me. That is also a way for me to prepare for my next class and review for the old ones. I gain a lot of vocabulary by doing that, so I usually have many different ways to express and describe a thing. In writing classes, I am one of the students who turn in the most pages since I have many ideas thanks to reading. Each author has his or her own way to write about the same subject, and their words are very good to use. People usually give me compliments on the way I talk and choose the words, and it is one of the advantages of studying Literature. In the future, I want to be a Literature teacher so that I can continue to learn and research more about the pieces of art from all over the world. I love words, ideas and expression, so I will always consider it as my favorite subject of all time.

My favorite subject is Math, but people rarely believe that there is a student who actually loves Math. This is a quite easy subject at primary level, but I have to admit that it gets harder and harder through time. I had a struggling period with it before I could find the motivation and interest to study. I find it is not only useful, but it is like puzzles that I can find the joy once I solve them. Some students say that they cannot find any use of quadratic equation or complicated formulas in reality, but Math actually appears in many aspects in our life. It helps calculate and bring out the exact results, and we cannot construct anything without calculate the figures, or the amount of materials or the whole are. Besides, it also an useful assistant for some other subjects such as Physics and Chemical, and it helps us develop our logical thought. We can think faster and have better reaction with numbers thanks to Math. Whenever I go to the markets with my mom, I always help her to check whether the sellers take the right or wrong amount of money as well as the change. I meet it both in school and in my real life, so there is no wonder why I find it really necessary. In conclusion, I think Math is not just simply a subject that challenges the students, but it can actually help us in our daily life. I am so lucky to find this subject enjoyable, and I will always find joy in studying it.

O Hen-ri là một nhà văn Mĩ chuyên viết truyện ngắn. Những tác phẩm của ông thường nhẹ nhàng nhưng toát lên tinh thần nhân đạo cao cả, tình yêu thương người nghèo khổ, rất cảm động. “Chiếc lá cuối cùng” là truyện ngắn góp phần làm cho tên tuổi của O Hen- ri trở nên bất hủ. Trong câu chuyện ấy, ta thấy thấm đượm tình cảm cao đẹp giữa những người họa sĩ nghèo khổ, và đặc biệt để lại nhiều dư cảm sâu sắc nhất là nhân vật cụ Bơ-men.Cụ Bơ-men con người có đức hi sinh cao cả. Nhà văn đã tập trung miêu tả khoảnh khắc căng thẳng của cụ và Xiu: “ Họ sợ sệt ngó ra ngoài cử sổ, nhìn cây thường xuân. Rồi họ nhìn nhau một lát, chẳng nói năng gì.” Dường như trong phút giây im lặng ấy, họ đã đoán được điều gì sẽ xảy đến. Là một nhân vật chính nhưng cụ chỉ xuất hiện ở phần đầu và giữa truyện, những hành đông tiếp theo của cụ chỉ được hiện lên qua lời kể của Xiu. Sau khi ngôi làm mẫu cho Xiu vẽ, hình ảnh cụ Bơ-men bỗng biến mất. Người đọc dần lãng quên sự hiện diện của cụ mà thay vào đó chú ý tới diễn biến căng thẳng xoay quanh Xiu, Giôn- xi và chiếc lá cuối cùng. Không ai đoán biết được cụ đã làm gì trong khoảng thời gian ấy . Phải đến cuối truyện, Giôn-xi và người đọc mới hiểu rõ hành động cao cả của cụ. Chắc chắn khi đứng dưới mưa tuyết để vẽ chiếc lá lên bờ tường gạch, con người già nua ấy giá buốt lắm, hơn ai hết cụ biết rõ tính mạng mình đang gặp nguy hiểm. Nhưng lòng thương yêu Giôn-xi, ý muốn dùng cây bút và bảng màu để đem lại niềm tin, nghị lực sống cho cô dã giúp cụ vươt lên tất cả.Truyện ngắn làm cho chúng ta không khỏi rung cảm trước tình yêu thương cao cả giữa những người nghèo khổ. Câu chuyện còn giàu tính nhân văn , ẩn chứa bức thông điệp trong cuộc sống: dù gặp phải hoàn cảnh khó khăn nhất cũng đừng bao giờ bi quan, tuyệt vọng, hãy mạnh mẽ tin tưởng vào ngày mai tươi sáng, ta sẽ vượt qua tất cả.

It is regrettable that Hanoi, where I’m living, is negatively affected by pollution and the major environmental problems it is facing are water pollution, air pollution and noise pollution.

There are various reasons why this city is badly polluted. Firstly, due to modernization, more and more vehicles such as cars and motorbikes are used. This leads to an increase in exhaust emissions which contaminate the atmosphere, not to mention the rising level of noise pollution. Secondly, factories and industrial zones in the city have discharged a huge amount of untreated waste into rivers, causing death to many fish and other aquatic animals.

In fact, pollution makes people here less healthy, and some even suffer from life-threatening diseases such as lung cancer, skin cancer, and so on. Therefore, the government must deal with this problem right away. Cutting down on vehicle use is the best way to reduce air pollution and noise pollution. We can do this by encouraging people to use public transportation. Besides, those who litter should pay a heavy fine. Finally, I think the best solution is to raise awareness and educate people to protect the environment.
