Turning methane emissions from cows into energy: This technology can definitely be used in Vietnam as the country has a large population of cows, which results in the emission of a significant amount of methane. With this technology, the methane gas can be captured and converted into biogas or electricity, which can be used to power households and industries. By using this technology, we can reduce the release of methane into the atmosphere, which is a potent greenhouse gas, and help slow down global warming.
Growing plants in the ocean: Growing plants in the ocean, also known as ocean farming, can be a feasible technology for Vietnam, given its long coastline. This method involves growing various types of seaweed and other marine plants to help absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Additionally, these plants can be used as a source of food, biofuel, and other products. By growing these plants, we can reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and help mitigate climate change.
Keeping CO2 in storage sites: Carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology can be a useful method to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in Vietnam, particularly in the industrial sector. However, there are some challenges with the implementation of CCS technology, such as the lack of suitable storage sites and the high cost of capturing and storing CO2. Nevertheless, if properly implemented, this technology can help reduce CO2 emissions, thereby mitigating climate change.

ASEAN Youth Forum (AYF) is a programme for young people in ASEAN, which allows them to express their opinions and fight for their right to live in a sustainable and caring regional community. Its members regularly hold meetings and workshops to discuss the problems facing young people in ASEAN and how to address them. AYF also organises Youth: Open Space- an online space for young Southeast Asians to meet, connect, share and talk about current issues such as climate change, health, education, technology and online security.
Over the past decade, AYF has had meetings in all ASEAN countries. It has connected thousands of young leaders from Southeast Asia, who meet to discuss and suggest strategies for making ASEAN a better community. These conferences aim to improve young people's leadership skills and strengthen regional unity.

Proposal: ASEAN GREEN WEEK
Dear Youth: Open Space,
We would like to propose a youth event called "ASEAN GREEN WEEK" to raise awareness about environmental protection and reduce carbon dioxide in ASEAN countries. This event will take place during the first week of August every year and involve young people from all ASEAN countries.
During the week, we will encourage participants to adopt sustainable lifestyle practices, such as cycling or taking public transport to school or work. We will also organize tree-planting activities and clean-up events in communities across the region.
The goals of ASEAN GREEN WEEK are to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and raise young people's awareness of environmental protection. By promoting sustainable practices and encouraging people to take action, we hope to create a cleaner and healthier environment.
We believe that this event will be beneficial for young people's lifestyles, as well as for the environment. We look forward to working with you to make ASEAN GREEN WEEK a success.
Sincerely,
