Thì HTHTTD tập trung vào hành động có thể vẫn chưa kết thúc. Ở đây hành động “think, use” chưa kết thúc.

Cấu trúc: S + have/ has been + Ving

Thì HTHT nhấn mạnh số lần hành động được lặp đi lặp lại. Ở đây hành động “fix” được lặp lại nhiều lần (several times).

Cấu trúc: S + have/ has + V.p.p

=> I have been thinking of buying new bicycle for my son. He has been using an old one since he was in secondary school. I have fixed it several times.
