Dear mom,

I want you to know that I’m really thankful to have you as my mom and I also want to say this for you, but I’m not really that strong to tell you that I’m really thanks to you for birthed me, care me, teach me, be patient with me and cheering for me. Mom, I’m also really wanted to say this because I always make you feel worries, angry, and cry. Mom I’m really sorry for everything because sometimes without me realized or not my words were too tough and hard. Mom, please forgive me. I know everything you do for me just want me to be a good person. Mom, if I always make you feel uneasy please tell me because I will try my best to change it and make you feel comfortable. Mom, I want you to know that I’m proud to have you as my mom and I love you. Last but not least, mom, I just want you do one more things to me. Mom if I cannot be your proud one, I hope you don’t mind. Please believe me in everything I do and please support me. Mom promise me that you will never stop believe me and support me, just believe and believe me. I don’t mind if no one wants to trust me but I don’t want you to stop trust me. Because only you my inspiration and only you can light up my strength, as long as you with me. Mom, if I had done something that makes your heart broken, please trust me that I don’t mean to do it. Mom, your trusts are the most important to me. Mom, the trusts of you are the supporter to me to do the best in my life. Mom, please stay at my sides until the end.

Mom, I am proud to say that I am a mature bird now, I already had my own wings to fly with, and I known how to make ends meet. But you would never understand that! When I was 13, no matter how hard I tried to convince you I wanna study abroad after finishing my secondary school, you resisted saying "NO". The reason was just as simple as your response: "I can't let you out of my hands" When I was standing at the crossroad of my life making a choice: University entrance e xam or oversea study, I chose the former, as you wished. When I told you that I got the acceptance letter from my current university, the sadness in your eyes, I could see it crystally. When I was at the airport waiting for my flight to Ams and leaving eve rything behind, you did not breathe a word, and you bursted into tears when it was boarding time. Believe it or not, it was the first time I ever seen a strong woman cried, you even didn't when my grandpa passed away! Started my life in Amsterdam with the only things I had: English and your money, no relatives no friends no Vietnamese no help nobody and nothing more than that, I promised myself I gotta be big and different, just to prove my choice to you When I shower you the necklace I bought to you, which mounts to almost my salary, and what you did was ignoring and continue to enjoy the movie... I know until the end of this life, I would never satisfy you, thoug h you're not a Perfectionist. I always feel I have to chase you up for you keep refusing receiving everything from me, WHY? You have sacrified more than half of your life for your children, which is more than enough, and now it's my turn. Mom, no no need to say anything, I'm more than aware your invaluable love for me. But please, from now on Mom, let me fly with my wings and accept my love for you!
