GOAL CHECK – Plan a Party

It’s your mother’s birthday this weekend, and you want your close friend to help you plan a party for her. Write an email (120-150 words) to your friend and:

How's everything? Do you know my mother's birthday is tomorrow? Are you free tomorrow evening? I want her to have a surprise party. So, let's celebrate it with us. We need a cake, sweets, a present, and flowers for her. Can you buy the cake, sweets, and flowers for me? I don't have enough time to buy them tomorrow because I have to attend a class. She leaves work at 6 p.m., so we need to finish the preparation before my mother comes home. Let's meet at five o'clock at my house to decorate the living room!
