Tet is a national festival in VN and also an opportunity for family reunion. It's an occasio for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. Everyone welcomes the New Year and wishes happiness, good health and lucky. At the end of the year, all member of families clean their houses and redecorate it. Then, they buy food, soft drink, etc...to offer their guests. On the eve of the New Year, everyone gethered together with family to welcome the New Year. Indispensable, peach blossom or apricot blossom, a five-fruit tray and Chung cake. First-footing is made when the first visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends,relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the New Year.
