The thing I like most about living on a farm when I was small was the change of seasons spring summer, autumn and winter. I could see the change all come and go and each one was completely different. If hadn't been born and raised in the country, I would have never been able to tell the difference. Now in the city. you can buy summer flowers in winter and eat the same vegetables all the year round. Whereas, in the country I could only eat things at certain times of the year. For example, strawberries in June and turnips in winter lived my childhood with the seasons.
Also we made most of our food and would never eat frozen or tinned food. Everything was fresh, so it must be better than the type of food I am taking now in the city, City people think that people in the country miss a lot of good things about modern life, but in my opinion they miss a lot more than them. They miss real life.

Television is very popular and even has some benefits for kids. It helps very young children learn the letters of the alphabet, and helps other kids learn about science, cultures, and world events. However, researchers show that watching too much TV is bad for children. For one thing, there is a link between watching more than four hours of TV a day and being overweight. For another thing, many TV shows are violent and upsetting. Watching them may cause kids to be more fearful. And of course, more time in front of the TV means less time to study. Too much TV may also be the cause of lower grades. Experts do not agree on the solution to these problems.
