Topic 1: Home and accommodation
- I live in a flat on the second floor.
- The tower where I live has 21 floors and a public playground. On the first floor there are some shops. The building is pretty huge.
- I just moved here recently so I have only been living here for 3 months.
- I have a simple little bedroom with a balcony. My desk is next to my bookshelf. My bed is in the top corner. I also hang my family pictures on the wall.
- I love the balcony most. It’s where I look after my plants. I enjoy being in nature.
- I live with my parents, my grandmother and my two brothers.
- We usually spend most time together in the living room. We often watch a TV show that everybody likes, play games and discuss about different matters.
- In my room, I usually study, read books and take naps.
- My family has never been in a house because my parents can’t afford houses. We have only been living in flats.
- I don’t think so. It’s too far to my school and my brother’s. Maybe we could move to somewhere in the centre of the city so it’s near our schools and companies. There, we can approach more services and places.
- I prefer living a flat. There, I have a lot of neighbors who’s willing to help my family in need.
- Our home is near bus stops and railway stations, so it’s pretty good.
- I want to live in a villa in a large city so I can live with my family even when I grow up. The villa will also have a garden because I love nature.
- My bedroom is my favorite. It’s where I have privacy and do things I like. I always feel comfortable there.
- I used to live in the countryside of Hanoi, so there’s a lot of differences. But the largest difference is my new home is much busier and more modern than the old one.
- I agree. Comfort impacts our health and happiness, so it’s always important and better to live in a comfortable environment.
- I’m not sure, but I guess it’s because they want to live in a place with privacy.
