1. Complete the sentences with the words from the reading text on page 60.

RULES (Nguyên tắc)

1. We can use like to show something that is similar to something else.

(Chúng ta có thể sử dụng like để thể hiện một thứ gì đó giống với một thứ khác.)

2. We can use different from to show something that is not similar to something else. 

(Chúng ta có thể sử dụng different from để chỉ một cái gì đó không giống với một cái gì đó khác.)

3. We can use as ... as to express comparison of equality. 

(Chúng ta có thể dùng as ... as để thể hiện sự so sánh bình đẳng.)

4. We also use as ... as before and after many / much + noun. 

(Chúng ta cũng sử dụng as ... as trước và sau many / much + danh từ.)

3. Look at the information about the athletes. Then complete sentences 1–5 using comparative forms of the adjectives.

5. USE IT! Work in pairs. Compare opinions about the things in box B using comparative and superlative forms of the adjectives in box A.
