- What is the life skill?
- How important is it for teens to become independent?
- What are the main steps of the skill development?
- What other activities will be helpful for its development?
There are some needed virtues that should be gained to be an independent person. Firstly, it is finding information skill that helps you think independently and make your own decisions. It promotes problem solving approaches and make you become a self-reliant person. Coping with loneliness is the second important virtue. Lacking this skill may make you feel depressed, and you are likely to make wrong decisions about your life. Last but not least, teens should learn how to set a goal and persistently pursue it. A teen who knows how to track his progress is possible to stay motivated. In short, equipping with above skills is a big step in preparing girls or boys for independence and leading a successful life in the future.

It's great to know that you're coming to Viet Nam. I hope you’ll have a good time spending one day in Ha Noi.
There are many interesting places in the city, but I think within one day you are able to visit three places. The first place I suggest is Viet Nam National Museum of History. Since you like history very much, it's a must-see place. There's an extensive collection of artefacts tracing ret Sam's history. They're arranged chronologically from primitive to modem times. The second place is Hoan Kiem Lake. It's one of the symbols of Ha Noi. There you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and visit Ngoc Son Temple. You can also go for a walk at the Old Quarter, wander around the old streets and some ancient houses to explore Vietnamese culture. Fortunately, these places are close to one another, so you can walk around easily.

Learn the art of sharing work with your partners based on their skills and abilities. Before the start of the day, make a list of tasks that need your immediate attention as unimportant tasks can consume much of your precious time. Some tasks need to be completed on that day only while other unimportant tasks could be carried forward to next day. In short, prioritize your tasks to focus on those that are more important. Carry a planner or notebook with you and list all the tasks that come to your mind. Make a simple “To Do” list before the start of the day, prioritize the tasks, and make sure that they are attainable. To better manage your time-management skills, you may think of making 3 lists: work, home, and personal. Stress often occurs when we accept more work than our ability. The result is that our body starts feeling tired which can affect our productivity. Instead, share tasks with your partners and make sure to leave some time for relaxation. Most of the successful men and women have one thing in common. They start their day early as it gives them time to sit, think, and plan their day. When you get up early, you are more calm, creative, and clear-headed. As the day progresses, your energy levels start going down, which affects your productivity and your performance as well.
