Thế vào Q ta được
\(Q=2x^2-5x-12=\left(2x^2-\frac{2x\times\sqrt{2}\times5}{2\sqrt{2}}+\frac{25}{8}\right)-\frac{121}{8}\)
\(=\left(\sqrt{2}x-\frac{5}{2\sqrt{2}}\right)^2-\frac{121}{8}\ge\frac{-121}{8}\)
