It is the time when family members reunite and celebrate the occasion together. Preparation for Tet is often time-consuming and requires a lot of work. This includes re-decorating the home and visiting their ancestors' graves. In terms of food, Chung Cake is the typical dish of Tet, made out of sticky rice and green beans that are wrapped together in special kind of leave. During Tet, people typically visit their relatives' houses and wish each other luck, prosperity and safety for the coming year. It is also customary for children to receive lucky money, which is certainly the best part of Tet holiday for them.
