Last summer vacation, I went to Ha Long Bay with my family. It was sunny but not very hot. My parents sat in the sun and talked. My younger sister and I went swimming. Then, we went to some souvenir shops. We bought a lot of different gifts for our friends. Next, my family went to a fodd stall for lunch. We ate fish and crab. The food was delicious, but most of the things were not cheap. They were quite expensive. Finally, we took a lot of photos and went home by bus. After trip, we felt very happy because we had a great time get together. Our trip was great.

Last year my mom surprised my brother and I with a train trip to the nation's capital-washington DC. We departed at night and woke up the next morning somewhere inVirginia. Looking at beautiful sight of the mountains while enjoying breakfast.I had my 15th birthday while on this vacation and the crew said "Happy Birthday"to me every time they saw me.My grandmother often shared stories of how she rode the rails back in the 60's asthis was the most common way to travel back then. This trip gave me the opportunity to share my story with her as well. This trip brought my family closer. I will never forget it.
