Christmas is fun. I love this festival very much.
Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

Lunar New Year or Tet is the grandest and most important occasion in the year in Vietnam. Before Tet, my father and my brother cleaned the house and bought a peach tree and a kumquat to decorate the house. My mom and I made a special food of Tet called "Banh chung" from sticky rice, pork and green beans. On the first day of Tet, I visited to my grandparents and relatives to receive "lucky money" and wishes from them. Three days later, I went to pagoda to pray for a happy, successful and lucky year for myself and my family. I spent the rest of my holiday studying and reviewing the lesson at home. In short, my Tet was awsome and I love Tet so much.

As you know , tet holiday is the longest and grandest holiday .It occurs between 19th January and 20th February . Tet holiday is the time that helps people rest after a working hard year and start a new year. Everyone is vere happy and eager to welcome a new year and so do I . In Tet holiday , I can meet my family and my relative after a long time .This time make me feel happy and warmish .
And my tet holiday had just come by , it also left me impressed. It occured between 4th Ebruary and 15th february . Before Tet really came , I had gone to the supermarket to buy necessary things such as : candy , drink , food and so on for Tet days . Atmostphere at the market was uproarious. .....On 7th February , I made Chung cake with my mother.this was the first time I have made Chung cake.I also made Mut which is candied fruit .It was very exciting.
To have a more perfect Tet , Everyone had to prepare many things . Streets were decorated with coloured lights and red banners. In my house , my father ought a peach tree and a kumpuat tree ...I helped him decorate them . Not only decorating and cleaning my house but also cooking tradditional food.
Tet had come , everyone had said :'' happy new year'' and wished each other a sucessful new year. Children were given ''Lucky money'' by their children .And my parents gave me ''lucky money'' and wished me health and study hard. I went go to pago do to pray a lucky and happy new year with my family.i took part in many games that were very funny and interesting.
With me, last Tet holiday was really a time of fun and this time help me close up .
