Almost people must have to irritate some times because there are too many advertisements that appear everywhere or interrupt our viewing of certain things. However, we cannot deny that advertising has a significant advantage and benefit in terms of both business and providing information. So confirming that advertising is harmful or helpful in general is not well-founded because advertising has both good and bad aspects. The most important factor in advertising is whether there is a sense of balance and a clear purpose or not.
On the one hand, advertising is harmful. Nowadays, there are so many advertisements that we can see them everywhere such as on the street, bus stations, cars, train stations, even each social media video contains two to three commercials. It irritates us to have to see them over and over again. Furthermore, many advertising tricks use hypes to make products appear more appealing or better than they are. Many ads claim that their products have fantastic benefits, but don't give any proof. As a result, there are many people, particularly children, who lack experience in recognizing correct information. Therefore, many people did not receive the items for which they paid.
On the other hand, advertising is helpful in terms of both business and providing buyers with product information. Firstly, advertising is rapidly expanding, and in fact that advertising brings a great deal of benefits and certain success to businesses because it promotes their product more closely to consumers and has an effect on competition. Second, advertising can help us get a variety of new information about products from different companies, and with today's technology, it can help us make a real decision about which product we want to buy without having to spend a lot of time shopping.
