Extreme Chile!

The longest country in the world is Chile in South America. It is around 4,300 kilometers long from north to south. The driest desert in the world, the Atacama Desert, is in Chile. In some places in the Atacama, there is no rain. Plants and animals cannot live in these areas. The desert's extreme conditions make it an ideal place for scientific experiments.

I know a place which is called by a quite scary name, Death Valley. It is in California. 

Death Valley is commonly known to be one of the hottest places in the world.

Its name was given by a group of pioneers lost there long ago. All of them assumed that this valley would be their grave. Eventually, some of them died there but some were rescued and before they left, one of the men turned, looked back, and said "goodbye, Death Valley". The name, therefore, has become part of its history. There, we can come across potentially dangerous animals like rattlesnakes, black widow spiders, bees, and mountain lions.
