However, in many countries the following three generations have common characteristics.

They grew up online and never knew the world before digital and social media. They are very creative and able to experiment with platforms to suit their needs. Many Gen Zers are also interested in starting their own businesses and companies. They saw so many people lose their jobs, so they think it is safer to be your own boss than relying on someone else to hire you.

Soon a new generation, labelled Gen Alpha, will be on the scene. Let's wait and see if we will notice the generation gap

NEW CAUSE FOUND FOR CRUISE SHIP ILLNESSES
On several different cruises during the past year, hundreds of passengers and crew members became
sick. Until recently, many people thought poor food handling was the cause of the illnesses on the cruise

1909 - Bakelite

Leo Baekeland created Bakelite in 1909. Made entirely of artificial materials, it was the first true plastic. It was inexpensive, and it kept its shape when heated. Soon, it was being used in many things, including electrical products and jewelry. Since then, many other plastics have been developed.

Today - Petroleum

Today, most plastics are produced from non-natural materials made from petroleum. They are light, flexible, strong, and cheap. Despite all these advantages, there is one problem: plastic waste breaks down slowly and toxic chemicals can leak from it. Therefore, people are trying to develop less harmful plastics.
