Vu Quang National Park is located in Vu Quang District, Ha Tinh Province. It opened in 2002. The area of National Park is about 55,000 hectares. It has so many kind of species such as saolas, "black deer" as the animals. And the park also has valuable plants, wood, medicinal plants.

Last weekend my family had two-days trip in our home village. We started the journey in early morning. After three hours. Everyone felt tired. After that we start to walk to the village in 20 minutes to visit my grandparent's house. We spent enjoyable weekend in the country.We got there by coach.It took us one hour to get there.8 o’clock we began putting up tent by the sea.There was only ten all of us.Haft past eight we ate some bread with cheese for breakfast.We played foot ball games on the beach and then went swimming in the sea.
After that,we ate ready-cooked food for lunch and then we sat and song together.Afternoon we wandered along the beach and took a lot of photographs.We were all very tired when we came back home that evening but all of us felt very happy.We had a goog time. We all felt happy and healthy after the trip

A couple of months ago I, with my family, went to the Barossa Valley to have some relief from the city life. This was a great place indeed to get the desired relaxation. Wandering around the vineyards was the most excellent task that I ever undertook. All the other members were happy as well. This is a nice cue card topic for me and I will answer the remaining questions below.

I went there with my family, as I said before. I was accompanied by my wife Samantha and my daughter, Merry. I am an executive working with the marketing division of a multinational company while my wife is a school teacher. And Merry is in her fifth grade in the school. So, every one of us remains busy round the day and week and have less time for relaxation. Besides, getting day offs is also a troublesome issue for me. So, I intentionally persuaded them to manage leave from their respective tasks.

We had great fun there. The natural view of the valley was eye-catching and the place was filled with many other tourists like us. In fact, everyone needed some relief from their ordinary life. And this is the nearest place in Adelaide, Australia, to get some fresh air. Besides, we also enjoyed the walk in the valley, through the vineyards and some other attractive places. The stores set up in the area provided us with some of the classic stuff.

Honestly, I enjoyed there so much. My daughter was highly delighted to get such a place to visit and she was really amazed. We also visited the Barossa Historical Museum and Greenock Aviation Museum and the exhibitions were charming, especially the miniatures of aircraft. The tour was adorable indeed and I am planning to have some solo tour at the place.

Thank you for your last letter. I am happy to know that you have been well. Today I want to tell you about a vacation that I just went on. It started 3 days ago.

My family and I decided to go to Ha Noi to blow off some steam. It is the first time that we go there. We started at the Old Quarter. There were various types of delicious food for us to try. My favorite dish was the famous beef pho. I found a lot of shops that sell unique  After that, we saw the Sword Lake and the Turtle Tower. I had Trang Tien ice cream and it was so yummy! We also got to see the Temple of Literature and learned about the history of examinations in the past. It was an eye-opener for our family. If you want, I can tell you about it.

How was your summer holiday? I want to know all the details. I look forward to hearing from you.

Dear Dan,

I am writing this letter to give you great news on my newly purchased house. I hope you are doing well and sorry for not being in touch for such a long time. I was too busy in moving to new house.

As you know, our old house was not that specious and had only two bedrooms. With addition my baby girl we needed a bigger house. Neighborhood was also not that great and it was very far from Ben's office. It took long time to buy this new house, but believe me this is great one! My son is very happy to be at this new house. We have 3 specious bedrooms, a big size living and dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. My baby girl has a great space to crawl. It has a small backyard with a pet house for our doggy - Raju.

More importantly, this new house is very close to Ben's office. Now he is starting late to office and reaching back home early. Ben is also happy to give quality time for us, instead of wasting his time on long travel and traffic jams.

This Sunday, if you are available please visit our new house; I am sure you will like it.

The temple is divided into five court yard, each with its own significance and history. The first courtyard stretches from the main gate to Dai Trung gate; the second stands out with Khue Van Cac pavilion. If you notice well, you will find the pavilion symbol on all street signs of Hanoi. The third courtyard is where doctor names was listed on a tombstone above tortoise backs. There are a total of 82 tombstones, with names and origins of 1307 doctors, corresponding to 82 examination courses from 1442 to 1779. If you visit the temple at the beginning of the year or in May when many important examinations take place, you will catch sights of numerous students who come and rub the tortoise head. Such an act is believed to bring them luck to pass the test. The fourth courtyard is dedicated for Confucius and his 72 honoured students, as well as Chu Van An- a famous teachers known for his devotion to teaching. This is also where local authorities choose to cherish brilliant students in Hanoi, like those with top entrance results to university or top graduation outcomes. The last and also furthest courtyard is Thai Hoc house, which used to be Quoc Tu Giam- the first university of Vietnam. Thai Hoc house holds a small collection of old time costumes for students and mandarins, as well as explaining the process of taking and passing the national examination. If you are keen on architecture, Temple of literature has one of the most typical architecture style for centuries in Vietnam, composed of wood and tiles. Along the pass way is hundred-year-old trees that have witnessed ups and downs of history. Ngôi đền được chia thành năm sân, mỗi sân đều có ý nghĩa và lịch sử riêng. I have an unusual hobby: carving eggshells. I started this hobby four years ago after getting a carved egg from my dad when he came back from Japan. It's amazing that something as fragile as an empty eggshell can be made into such a beautiful piece of art. I was so amazed that I learned how to carve them myself from the internet. I find carving eggshells a little difficult but so interesting and useful. The feeling of accomplishment when I finish a piece is absolutely awesome. This hobby also helps me be more patient and careful.

Van Mieu (The Temple of Literature) was constructed in 1070 during Ly Thanh Tong's dynasty. Its original purpose was to honor Confucius. In 1076, the first university of Vietnam called Quoc Tu Giam (The Imperial Academy), was established within this temple by Emperor Ly Nhan Tong. That's the reason why the complex has the name of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam up to now. Initially, Quoc Tu Giam was the school for princes and children of royal families and then expanded in the following year to admit top students from around the country.

Nowadays, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam is one of the most famous tourist destinations for both Vietnamese people and foreigners. It's also a place to celebrate doctorates and high ranking scholars of Vietnam. One special thing about this place is that there are 82 Doctors' stone tablets. They are tombstones with names and origins of 1304 doctors placed on the backs of stone tortoises. If you come here at the beginning of the year or in May, when many important examinations take place, you will catch sights of numerous families and students who come and pray for luck.

Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam opens daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the entrance fee for each adult is 30,000 VND.

Cooking is my favorite hobby. My grandmother taught me how to cook my first dish when I was 8. My family enjoyed it so much so that is when I started this hobby. Some people say cooking is a waste of time but I find this hobby very interesting and meaningful. I really love trying new food and cooking for my family. The feeling of making my family happy with my food is amazing. I often collect recipes from my mother and my grandmother. Sometimes I also get recipes from the internet. Then I write them in a notebook. I hope I will become a good chef and have my own cookery book in the future.
