When your mobile phone runs out of battery power, all you have to do to get it working again is to charge it up. Imagine if you could do the same thing with your car. Researchers at car companies are developing cars that plug into electric sockets. These vehicles might become the cars of the future.

The cars are called plug-in hybrids and they get most of their power from electricity, just like other electrical devices like mobile phones and laptops. This technology would significantly reduce the amount of petrol that people use. For countries that depend on other oil producing countries for their petrol supply this could be a great advantage.

Presently, most cars use petrol. Unfortunately, burning fossil fuels produces carbon dioxide gas, and when a large amount of this gas and other greenhouse gases are trapped in the Earth's atmosphere, they cause global warming. Hybrid vehicles have already been developed and are being driven. These cars get their power from both petrol and electricity; they are able to travel longer distances with less petrol. Plug-in hybrids will be even more advanced as they are designed to be powered mainly by electricity and use only a small amount of petrol. It might be some time before the cars will become available to the public but if they do, it will be a major breakthrough for transport.

I don't agree that opinion. If you just learn Math ,Literature and English ,you just good at 3 of these. You have to learn another subject to know about  what happen to the world. You learn Geography to know geographical location , this  subject can help you capture the place easily . You learn technology to know how to fix electricity. So you have to learn all subjects because it can help you in your life and your job in the future

The most important subject is writing. Not literature, but writing. This will be critical no matter what you do, whether you’re a nurse, an administrative assistant, or the president of the free world. And the understanding of maths must be considered the criterion for intelligence as well. Maths is life and no subject can run without maths. All the problems in the world required maths to solve it. Same way, anything requiring calculations is dependent on maths like every step even you make. Without proper calculations one may succeed accidentally in getting something but to continue getting the same results one surely has find what calculations made the success possible. Futhermore, English is an universal language, once you know how to speak, write and read English, you can talk to whoever and whenever, it especially good for your higher education like when you go to the college or university because some books are written in English. In conclusion, I think that students must study many things including Maths and Literature and English in order to succeed in the modern world.

I learn many subjects in school. But the one I enjoy learning is History. History tells us how people lived ages ago. It also tells us how men had to struggle to make the world a better place to live. Many pupils, however, do not to read History. They say that there are too many names and dates to remember. But they do not understand that if we do not know about the past, we can not understand the present properly. In fact, only a study of History will make us realize that everything we do today is the result of what our grandfathers and others before them did in the past. English is an international language which we have to master. For that important level, I myself have always been trying to learn English. I still remember learning English before. At that time I was in grade 10th. I didn't know what English was and why I had to learn it. I learned it badly. My teacher often complained about my learning. After grade 10th, I studied extra English class. Thank for my being hard-working , I made progress. Gradually, I liked English. I practised day and night.
