Rural life is a pipe dream for many city people today. To what extend do you agree or disagree wit the above statement.
For many people, living in a city bores to them. So they tend to desire to inhabit in a secluded area with fresh air and picturesque views.
Firstly, the reasons for who don’t want to live in such a polluted city are a lot. The number of workload is so much. They might work overtime to make their livings or every morning the congestion of the traffic also make them feel tired. Especially, the criminal situation has gone up considerably.
Secondly, living in a countryside also has its own disadvantages. For instance, sometime, the electricity supply might fail. If you were bited a snake whose poison is very dangerous just only treated by some hospitals in cities, you might died after few minutes. It’s likely that the worst thing about the countryside is the educational conditions. In here, well-qualified teachers might not as more as ones in the city. The modern facilities tend to be non-existent.
In conclusion, neither living in the city nor the countryside is better than the other. The enjoyment depends on people and their favorites. We can’t put in comparison with them.

Tan's parents, like many immigrants, had high expectations for their children and often set confusing standards, expecting Amy and her two brothers to think likeChinese but to speak perfect English, excel academically, and take advantage of every circumstance that might lead to success. Tan, however, was not satisfied despite her material success. Turning to her life long dream, she wrote her first short story, "Endgame", and then a second, "Waiting between the Trees", In 1987 Tán visited her half-sisters in China with her mother, a urip that proved to be a turning point in her life and career. Tan felt a sense of completeness, a bonding with the country and its culture that she had never expected. Returning from China, Tan was surprised to learn that on the strength of her short stories she had received an advance from a publisher. Tan closed her business and wrote the remaining stories for the Joy Luck Club. It was resounding success, well received by the critics and appearing on the New York Times bestseller list. You can do a few things to make homework less stressful. First, be sure you understand the assignment. Write it down in your notebook or day planner if you need to, and don’t be afraid to ask questions about what is expected. It is much easier to take a minute to ask the teacher during or after class than to struggle to remember later that night! If you want, you can also ask how long the particular homework assignment should take to complete so you can plan your time.
Second, use any extra time you have in school to work on your homework. Many schools have libraries that are specifically designed to allow students to study or get homework done. The more work you can get done in school, the less you will have to do that night.
Third, pace yourself. If you don’t finish your homework during school, think about how much you have left and what else is going on that day, and then plan your time. Most middle students should have between 1 and 3 hours of homework a night. If it is a heavy homework day, you will need to devote more time to homework.
No one is expected to understand everything, and maybe you need some help. The first place to turn for help is your teacher. But what if you don’t feel comfortable with your teacher? If you are in a big enough school, there may be other teachers who teach the same subject. Speak to other teachers directly and you may be in luck. Sometimes it just helps to have someone explain something in a different way. Moreover, you might also be able to get some help from another student. If there is someone you like who is a good student, think about asking that person if you can study together.

30. When students need some help, they should ________.
