Choice of destination:
- Places of interest in your area (e.g. museums, historical sites, natural parks)
- Nearby cities or towns with good transport links
- Beaches, mountains, lakes, or other scenic areas
- Tourist attractions or events (e.g. festivals, concerts, sports matches)
- Places that offer activities or experiences your penfriend might enjoy (e.g. hiking, surfing, shopping, trying local cuisine)
- Budget and time constraints
Vocabulary: location, scenery, attractions, transportation, accessibility, tourism, budget, preferences
Accommodation:
- Types of accommodation available in your area (e.g. hotels, hostels, B&Bs, apartments)
- Location and proximity to points of interest or transportation
- Cost and amenities (e.g. Wi-Fi, breakfast, parking)
- Reviews or recommendations from previous guests
- Cultural differences or expectations regarding accommodation

Holiday activities:
- Outdoor activities (e.g. hiking, swimming, cycling, kayaking)
- Cultural activities (e.g. visiting museums, attending concerts or theater performances, trying local food)

- Time for relaxation and socializing
- Safety considerations (e.g. sun protection, hydration, first aid)

Clothing appropriate for the destination and planned activities (e.g. comfortable shoes, waterproof jacket, beachwear, formal attire)
