Vietnam usually has a dozen storms every year from June through the end of November, and most of which occur in the Central and northern provinces. On November 2nd, 1997, however, unexpectedly severe tropical storm Linda raged in the South. Linda was the worst typhoon in Southern Vietnam over 100 years, killing thousands of people and leaving extensive damage. Formed in the sea of the Philippines, Linda strengthened as it moved westwards. Later, it struck extreme Southern Vietnam with winds of 100 kilometres an hour. Ca Mau province, suffered a direct hit by the storm, had the most damage. Strong winds and heavy rain caused flooding, destroyed crops, damaged about 200,000 houses and left about 383,000 people homeless. Linda later struck Thailand, causing flash flooding and at least 164 deaths. The storm also affected Myanmar, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Cambodia to a lesser degree.

       Around 60 kilometers southwest of Ha Noi, Perfume Pagoda is one of the largest religious sites in Huong Son Commune, My Duc District. It comprises a complex of pagodas and Buddhist shrines built into the limestone cliffs of Perfume Mount, spreading alongside the mountain up to the peak. The complex's center is Inner Temple, right inside Huong Tich Cavern. Huge numbers of pilgrims flock to the site during the Perfume Pagoda Festival, which begins in the middle of the first lunar month and lasts until the middle of the third one (or from February to April) in order to pray for happiness and prosperity in the coming year. Also, it is a very popular opportunity for young couples to meet and for numerous romances to be formed. On this special occasion, a wide range of traditional cultural activities is incorporated.             Ancestor worship is a religious practice based on the belief that one's ancestors possess supernatural powers, such as gods, angels, saints, or demons.

            Ancestor worship in some cultures honors the deeds, memories, and sacrifice of the deal. Much of the worship includes visiting the ancestors at their graves, making offerings to them to provide for their welfare in the afterlife.

            Spirit money (also called Hell Notes) is sometimes burned as an offering to ancestors as well for the afterlife. The living may regard the ancestors as“guardian angels” to them, perhaps in protecting them from serious accidents, or guiding their path in life.

            Families burned incense every day on the domestic ancestral altar. In China, the family altar house the family spirit tablets. On the outer surface of the spirit tablet is engraved the year of the death, his full name, and the name of the son who erects the tablet.

The Voice The Voice is a two-time Emmy Award winning, the number one series on NBC, featuring the countrys best unknown artists and four of the biggest names in music as coaches.

The shows innovative format features five stages of competition: the first begins with the blind auditions, followed by the battle rounds, the knockouts, the live playoffs and finally, the live performance shows.

During the blind auditions, the decisions from the musician coaches are based solely on voice and not on looks. The coaches hear the artists perform, but they dont get to see them - thanks to rotating chairs. If more than one coach pushes his/her button, the power then shifts to the artists to choose which coach they want to work with. If no coach pushes his/her button, the artist is eliminated from the competition.

Once teams are set, the battle is on. Coaches dedicate themselves to developing their teams of artists, giving them advice and sharing the secrets of their success, along with help from their celebrity advisers. During the battle rounds, the coaches pit two of their own team members against each other to sing the same song together in front of a studio audience. After the vocal battle, the coach must choose which of his/her singers will advance to the next round of competition, while the losing artist is available to be stolen by another coach. Each coach has two steals available during the battle rounds.
At the end of the battles, only the strongest members of each coachs roster remain and proceed to the knockout rounds. Here, the artists are paired against a teammate once more, but this time, they select their own songs to perform individually, while their direct competitor watches and waits. They are competing for their coach's confidence and decision to take them to the live shows. In the live playoff rounds, the Top 20 artists compete to secure a spot in the live shows. Artists perform live, and Americans vote to save their two favorite artists from each team. The coaches then save one remaining artist to complete their roster. The remaining contestants move on to the final phase of the competition, the live shows.
In the final live-performance phase of the competition, the Top 12 artists compete each week against each other during a live broadcast. The television audience votes to save their favorite artists.
