Hello, My name ís Trang. I think everyone has at least one best friend. Me too. My best friend is Nguyet. We study at Vinh Tuong secondary school together so everyday we go to school together. She is tall and thin with long black hair. She is very friendly and kind. Specially, she has a graceful smile. Although we play game very much, but we still study very well, because we help each other in study and never forget to do exercise at school. She is good at English so I like learning English with her very much. I like her very much.

I really want to tell you about my friend, one of my best friend is Tuan. We were classmate during our five years at Ha Tinh city. He was a good student of my class. He has black hair and bright eyes and is very good – looking. Tuan and I had many things in common, especially, our hobbies. We both like traveling, billiard, table tennis, reading book and singing.

He has a kind heart and is easy to get on with everybody. The deeper our mutual understanding becomes the more we feel closely attached to each other. We are the best pupils in our class. Tuan is always at the top. He is good at every subject, but he never shows pride in his abilities and always tries to learn harder.

Tuan’s family is not rich. His parents are farmers. He often spends most of his free time doing useful things to help his parents. I like Tuan very much because of his honesty and straight forwardness. He is always ready to help his weak friends in their study; as a result, lots of friends, thanks to his whole-hearted help, have become good ones.

Among my friend, I cherish the most is Hoa. She is a good student of my class. She live with her parents in a small house near my house. She has long black hair, oval face and brown eyes. What particularly struck me about her was the smile. She look so lovely and friendly when she smile. She is form of triends that I can share everything. She always believed and helped me in every situation. She is gentle and edearing all friends. She likes Hary Potter, reding books, listening to music and arranging flowers. Hoa and I a lot in common with each other, has become good friends over the past seven years. Although time has passed long in any case, Hoa and I also trying to keep this friendship.

My hobby

In my daily life, I have several hobbies such as cooking, surfing, listening to music and so on. However, I like reading books the most for some reasons. Firstly, reading makes me feel comfortable after many long stressful hours at school. I actually like comic books because they contain lots of colorful and interesting images that keep my spirit relax. Secondly, reading books provides me a great deal of diverse knowledge of many fields. For instance, I can know more specific culture of each country in The World’s Cultures book. In addition, I can know more things about different life of various animals that are living around the world in the Discovery of Animals World book. Finally, reading helps to enhance my vocabulary in both Vietnamese and English language. In Vietnamese book, I can learn many traditional folks or proverbs that help me understand more deeply the beauty of my mother tongue. About English books, I can improve my English reading comprehension skill in study. Besides, my communication skill with the foreigners will be better, too. In conclusion, I really like reading books, for it brings many good things to me. I see it as an useful activity to learn how to make life more meaningful and beautiful.

Last summer, I had a good holiday. I never forget that meaningful holiday. When I came back my home from my holiday. First of all, I went to visit all my uncles and aunts then I and some my friends went to visit all my old teachers. We talked about our lives and works very much. After that days, I stayed at home with my family. I helped my parents to paint the house and did something else. I talked about my life in Ho Chi Minh city and my work. My parents was very proud of me and I was very happy. After my holiday, I came back Ho Chi Minh city to go on working. I think that I had a good holiday and I’ll never forget it
