5. At present, they ( not do) aren't doing anything. (at present -> thì hiện tại tiếp diễn)
6. Mai seldom (come) comes back home late at night, but last night she (arrive) was arriving home at 11:30 pm.

(seldom -> thì hiện tại đơn; thời gian cụ thể trong quá khứ -> thì quá khứ tiếp diễn)

Phương pháp giải:

- Đếm số ngôi sao ở trong và ở ngoài hình tròn.

- Muốn so sánh đại lượng này nhiều hơn hoặc ít hơn đại lượng kia bao nhiêu thì ta lấy số lớn trừ số bé.

- Số ngôi sao cần vẽ thêm bằng số vừa tìm được ở bước trên.

Lời giải chi tiết:

- Trong hình tròn có 6 ngôi sao.

- Ngoài hình tròn có 8 ngôi sao.

- Số ngôi sao ở ngoài hình tròn nhiều hơn số ngôi sao ở trong hình tròn là:

    8 – 6 = 2 (ngôi sao)

- Số ngôi sao ở trong hình tròn ít hơn số ngôi sao ở ngoài hình tròn là:

    8 – 6 = 2 (ngôi sao)

- Để số ngôi sao ở ngoài hình tròn bằng số ngôi sao ở trong hình tròn, em phải vẽ vào trong hình tròn thêm 2 ngôi sao nữa.
