The environment is very necessary for our life. The environment for peaceful life, fresh air, people, animals and creatures,... grow well, healthy. But nowadays, our environment is disturbing is many different ways. So, we need to protect the environment in many ways : reduce the amount of waste, throwing wastes properly to its place,...When we protect the environment, we are protecting ourselves and our future as well.

Christmas is a holiday on December 25th celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas has now become more and more popular in VietNam, especially to young people. On this day, people often decorate their houses and prepare presents,... .

Even so, many households in big cities buy the Christmas tree and hang lights and small bells upon it. Children also love Christmas day so much. They prepare clean stocks for receiving the presents from the Santa Claus. How about the celebration? On Christmas Eve, people often sing Christmas Carol, meet friends, relatives to make a wish for them.

Some people often impersonate Santa Claus and give present to everyone. All Christians go to church on this day. In England and Australia, people often make Christmas cake - a traditional food made for Christmas day.

There are several holidays held in a year. It is Christmas holiday that is interesting. Christmas occurs on 24 and 25^th December but it starts from the beginning of the month. During Christmas, people are more friendly and gentle with each other because they believe to have a happier life without sorrow. I enjoy decorating Christmas tree and walk around the streets looking at the buildings and the trees around the city such as in squares and parks, shops and offices. Especially, there is always a big tree at city’s center, in which people gather and pray together in Christmas night. All the city is decorated with color and lights; therefore, it is a chance for citizens go out, take many beautiful photos and transfer to each other. We take part in several interesting activities creating snowman, playing in snow, making homemade candy or cake, cleaning house. The snow is a symbol of Christmas. To me, it is a symbol of renewal and cleanliness of the upcoming event. Besides, the children enjoy receiving presents, which are put at the tree by Santa Clause. They believe he brings obedient kid joy, good health and hope for a new year. Actually, the gifts are prepared by parents or relatives in order to encourage them study and well behave with other. The tradition of giving presents originates from the old days and it becomes one of features of Christmas holiday. Christmas reinforces the belief of one’s soul and heals all sadness and dissatisfaction. In my opinion, it is essential to continue this holiday because of its beneficial role in culture of one country.

Besides modern facilities, this school is also well- known for enthusias and qualified teachers who are always dedicated and devoted themselves to teaching career. In conclusion, studied in this school for four years, it has become an indispensable part in my life.

In conclusion, my school has become an indispensable part in my life.

My high school is located in a small village of a countryside; therefore it is not very big and modern. There are only about one thousand students from grade ten to twelve studying in 16 classrooms, and we have go to school at different hours in a day so there will be enough rooms. Around the school is an empty grass field which will soon be projected as a part of our school, and we hope our little sisters and brothers can have a bigger and more comfortable school to study. The gate is very old and rusty, but it can still keep the students from running outside of the school during break time. Next to the gateway is the parking lot where we park all of our bikes. There are many trees and flowers which have been planted through many generations of students, and today we still keep on planting more of them to have a greener space. Those trees bring a lot of shades to us, which also provide us an ideal playground on break time and after school. There is a small soccer field in the corner, and most of the time the boys have to fight in order to play on it. We do not have a room specialized for studying sports, so we spend our Physical education class right on the school yard. The walls are painted in a light yellow color, but some parts of them had become flaked off due to the impact of time. Despite being old, my school is always clean and tidy thanks to the effort of both students and teachers. We try our best to keep the school as a healthy and friendly environment for everyone. It is not the best school someone can find, but it is still the beloved place for many generations of students include me.

My favorite sport is volleyball. I have been passionate about this sport since I was a boy. Growing up, I used to play with my friends after school every hour. We got together on the volleyball court in the school, then split into two teams to play. Every team tries to score points by hitting the ball over the net, and the ball must touch inside the field. If the team bounces off the pitch, the score belongs to the other team. Additionally, each team can get points when their opponent makes a mistake. I can name a few common mistakes when playing this sport such as: the ball hits the outside of the bounds, the ball hits the arm or the net, throws the ball away or catches the ball, … Volleyball’s intentions seem quite complicated, but we still love to play the sport. It has helped me improve and exercise my own health. Besides, it also helps me feel more at ease after every stressful class in class. I love playing volleyball because it gave me a lot of fun and memories with my friends. I hope in the future I can join the competitive school club and win lots of awards. Em sinh ra và lớn lên tại quê lúa Thái Bình, mỗi năm có rất nhiều ngày hội, đặc biệt là các ngày hội ở tháng giêng, tháng ba ở khắp nơi. Tuy nhiên lễ hội mà em cảm thấy yêu thích và mong chờ nhất đó chính là lễ hội Trung thu hay còn gọi là Đêm hội trăng rằm.

Chắc hẳn các bạn ai cũng biết đến ngày hội này vì cả nước ở đâu cũng có ngày Tết Trung thu. Vào đúng ngày trăng tròn là ngày 15 tháng 8 âm lịch chính là Tết Trung thu. Ở quê em, học sinh từ mẫu giáo đến tiểu học sẽ được nghỉ học để vui chơi trong cả hai ngày 14 và 15. Ngày hội Trung thu quê em gồm có hai phần chính, thứ nhất là hội thi diễn văn nghệ và thứ hai là hội thi cắm trại.

Chiều ngày 14 các thôn trong xã sẽ cắm trại và làm đèn ông sao trên sân vận động ủy ban xã. Trại của thôn nào cũng đẹp, đầy cờ hoa và đèn sáng nhấp nháy, không thể thiếu ảnh Bác Hồ, cờ Tổ quốc và mâm ngũ quả. Buổi tối ở khu cắm trại mọi người vui chơi rất đông, già trẻ, gái trai đều cùng nhau đến xem hội. Tiết mục đồng diễn và diễn văn nghệ được mọi người mong chờ nhất, các anh chị đồng diễn rất đều và đẹp, các em nhỏ múa rất tự tin lại rất dẻo.

Mỗi một tiết mục kết thúc là lại rầm rầm tiếng vỗ tay, reo hò cổ vũ, thực sự rất náo nhiệt. Xung quanh khu biểu diễn và cắm trại là những gian hàng bán đồ ăn nhanh, bán đồ chơi và các trò chơi giải trí rất hấp dẫn và thu hút nhiều người đi chơi hội. Mặc dù chỉ diễn ra trong ít ngày nhưng đối với em, Trung thu là một ngày hội đoàn kết của toàn dân tộc, rất đặc biệt và ý nghĩa.
