→Natural Gas← viết về cái nè nhé
A natural gas flame
Ervins Strauhmanis, Flickr (link is external)
A gas that is made up mostly of methane and found near other fossil fuels, like coal. Methanogenic processes occurring in landfills and marshes also produce natural gas. Like petroleum, natural gas must first be processed before we can use it as a fuel. It is important to remove most of the other components of natural gas until it is almost purely methane. When combusted, natural gas produces only about half the greenhouse gas emissions as coal does, making it a popular fossil fuel in our increasingly carbon-conscious society. Take a look at these oil- and gas-related maps (link is external) to learn more about natural gas production and reserves in the United States.

To reduce your carbon footprint, we should reduce our electricity bills by turning off the light before going to bed or going out. Moreover, we should use low energy light bulbs. We can also use public transports more often and reduce the use of fossil fuel.

Energy plays a very important role in our lìfe, so we should save energy. I have read the Internet and there are some ways to save energy effectively. Firstly, you should reduce electricity bills by turning off the light before going to bed or before going out. Secondly, we should use low energy light bulbs. Moreover, we can use public transport more often instead of motobike or car. We can also reduce the use of fossil fuel. By following these activities, we can save energy and reduce our carbon footprint.

My name is Quynh Lam. I'm 13 years old. 3. I live in Ho Chi Minh city. In my place, there are 2 main seasons: rainy and dry season. My favorite season is the rainy season. In the rainy season, everything will be cooler, no longer hot.

tham khảo-Lush green shoots in the trees signal spring has come. This is my favorite season. Spring is like a young woman, gentle and gentle. Winter weather is very pleasant. This season is usually sunny. Light rays of sunlight perch on the tree canopy. Sunny but not hot. The first-spring rains were just fleeting like the angry girl, rushing to come but also hastily. Spring is the season that makes me feel extremely comfortable. The clear blue sky along with the fluffy white clouds made me feel so good. In spring, we do not have to suffer from the freezing cold of winter, nor do we need to worry about the scorching summer sun. Everything is so gentle. The spring air is neither too dry nor too humid. If possible I want to live forever this spring. But I know this is not possible. Spring has passed, leaving in my heart are regrets and memories and memories of spring rains.

1)air trevel is usually the largest component of the cacbon footprint of frequent flyers .A single return flight from london to newyork -including the complicated effect on the high atmosphere - contributes to alsmost a quarter of the average person's annual emissions. The easiest way to make a big difference is to go by train or nat take as many flights.

2)The secodt most inportain lifestyle change is to eat less meet with particula emphasis on meals containing beef and lamp .Cows and sheep emit large quantitines of methane ,a power ful glublewarming gas.Avegan diet as much as a 20%difference to your overal carbon impart simply cutting or beef will deliver a significan benefit on it own

A carbon footprint is historically defined as the total emissions caused by an individual, event, organization, or product, expressed as carbon dioxide equivalent.[1]Greenhouse gases (GHGs), including carbon dioxide, can be emitted through land clearance and the production and consumption of food, fuels, manufactured goods, materials, wood, roads, buildings, transportation and other services.[2]

In most cases, the total carbon footprint cannot be exactly calculated because of inadequate knowledge of and data about the complex interactions between contributing processes, including the influence of natural processes that store or release carbon dioxide. For this reason, Wright, Kemp, and Williams, have suggested to define the carbon footprint as:

A measure of the total amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) emissions of a defined population, system or activity, considering all relevant sources, sinks and storage within the spatial and temporal boundary of the population, system or activity of interest. Calculated as carbon dioxide equivalent using the relevant 100-year global warming potential (GWP100).[3]

Most of the carbon footprint emissions for the average U.S. household come from "indirect" sources, e.g. fuel burned to produce goods far away from the final consumer. These are distinguished from emissions which come from burning fuel directly in one's car or stove, commonly referred to as "direct" sources of the consumer's carbon footprint.[4]

The concept name of the carbon footprint originates from ecological footprint, discussion,[5] which was developed by William E. Rees and Mathis Wackernagel in the 1990s. This accounting approach compares how much people demand compared to what the planet can renew. This allows to assess the number of "earths" that would be required if everyone on the planet consumed resources at the same level as the person calculating their ecological footprint. The carbon Footprint is one part of the ecological footprint. The carbon part was popularized by a large campaign of BP in 2005.[6] In 2007, carbon footprint was used as a measure of carbon emissions to develop the energy plan for City of Lynnwood, Washington. Carbon footprints are more focused than ecological footprints since they measure merely emissions of gases that cause climate change into the atmosphere.

1. Make recycling bins readily accessible

You know the feeling. You just gulped down a bottle of water and now the empty plastic bottle is taking up your only free hand. The once refreshing water bottle is now a nuisance, and you just want to get rid of it. Seeing no recycling bins in sight, you now have a moral dilemma: Do you throw the bottle into the trash or do you hold onto it for who-knows-how-long until you find a recycling bin?

I think we all know the right answer in this situation, but let's be honest, students aren't always as... thoughtful (source: I once was a teenager, too). To avoid plastic bottles and other miscellaneous recyclables sitting in a landfill, place recycling bins next to trash cans and in strategic places throughout campus. Your future great-grandchildren will thank you.
