Do you ever wonder why certain places mean so much to certain people? When I

think of my bedroom, I realize why some people are touchy about who goes in their room

or who has been touching things in their

home, it is because those things are important to

them and may have some meaning. Places my bedroom are places where we can

relax and be comfortable and I think that is why it is important to people, because we can

be ourselves and feel comfortable,

we can also just sit down and rest our bones and relax.

Another important reason is we can go there when we want privacy, we can just shut our

door, maybe even lock it, and tell everyone in our household not to bother us. Also our

rooms hold most of our pe

rsonal belongings and those things are important to us and we

do not want anyone else to touch them or in some cases go near them.

Bedrooms are a place where we can be comfortable and we can sit back and relax.

When we are tired or not feeling the best we

can go to our room, shut our door, and lay

down and relax. Maybe even turn on some music or read a book or magazine. My bed is

where I to retreat to when I want to relax. I have a double bed with four pillows and

my favorite comforter. It is a Little

Mermaid comforter, I know it is childish but it is soft

and warm. And of course my kle Me Elmo sits on my bed and keeps me company. A

lot of times I just lay down and close my eyes and daydream about places I'd to see

or think about things that ma

ke me happy. One thing we should not do is think about

things we need to get done or anything that makes us feel stressed because then we'll

never feel relaxed. I usually try to stay away from these sort of thoughts and it usually

works out well.

The reas

on my bedroom is so important to me is because my room holds all of my

personal belongings, which are very important to me. Also my room is a comfortable

place to study or just to relax.

I can also have privacy whenever I want it by resorting to my room,

this may be

hard for some people if they share a room. Whenever my mom is nagging at me or when

I'm stressed out with school or work, I to go into my room and just be myself. All my

belongings in my room surround me and make me realize everything is g

oing to be all

right. It gives me a sense of security.

The way my room is set up makes it kind of cluttered, but that is the way I it

and I don't care what anyone says. As you first come into my room, to the right is my

dresser. My dresser is full of

things perfume, jewelry, hair ties, my alarm clock and

just a bunch of junk, mostly things that come out of my pockets at the end of the day. The

dresser itself is brown with six drawers, sets of three side by side. Diagonally across from

that is my

curio cabinet which holds all of my porcelain dolls, the cabinet is a light brown

with glass shelves. Next to my bed which is in the middle of the room is my

entertainment center which holds my stereo and pictures and just odds and ends.

Everything is wort

I believe that other people feel the same way about their rooms and homes, it gives

people a sense of security in a way that you can control what goes in your room and who

goes in your room. It sort of gives people power which may mean a lot to

some people.

My room holds almost all of my personal belongings, which I think almost everybody's

rooms do. I am sort of protective of the things in my room because a lot of my belongings

have sentimental value. My most treasured items are my collection o

f porcelain dolls

which are placed neatly in my curio cabinet. I have about fifteen dolls and if anything

would ever happen to those dolls I would be extremely upset and very furious. Nobody,

except myself, is allowed to touch them, not even my mother.

I'

m sort of a pack rat so I keep everything from old clothes to my childhood stuffed

animals which are all neatly sitting on my hope chest in my room. My hope chest is filled

with things I will need in the future towels, cooking utensils, blankets, old

picture

frames and other little things, these things mean a lot to me because a lot of these objects

belonged to my late grandmother and I am honored to own them. I treasure all my

belongings and do not other people to move or to borrow without asking

and I think

that a lot of people feel the same way. When someone touches our things we get upset

and I think in a way we are sort of honoring our possessions.

What my point is that everybody has something or some place that is important to

them and has m

eaning and a lot of times it is people's bedrooms and homes because it

belongs to us and we cherish these places. Bedrooms are a place of comfort and in some

cases a sense of security. It is a place of privacy when we need to be alone or just to sit

down a

nd take a load off. We can just be ourselves. So the next time someone gets

Everyday after finishing my personal schedule outside, I incontinently come back home to get into my dream world - my room. It is a spacious room right next to the stairs. The thing I most is the balcony looking over a small garden. The walls are covered with wallpapers in my favorite flowery pattern. On the window there are blinds to prevent light from coming into the room in the early morning. I also put some tiny houseplant in order to purify the atmosphere. A single bed together with a bedside table full of cosmes is placed in the corner next to the window. On the opposite side stands my little bookshelf full of novels and comic books. There is also vacuum cleaner to keep the room in neat and tidy condition all the time. This room has become my greatest adoration because of the convenience and privacy it brings about.

My school is Bubg school. It is very interesting and happy. In my school has a lot of computers so I play video games all day. The name of my school is Nhan Dao secondary school. It is situated in the suburb of Hai Phong city. It is considered to be one of the finest schools in the city, highly acclaimed for its excellent for number of talented students. The school building is an impressive structure. It consists of four three – floor blocks and has about 36 classrooms. Classrooms are spacious and airy.

Two staircases at both ends lead to the floors. The school has a well-equipped library, a well- established science laboratory and two excellent computer room, all of which are situated on the a separate block.

There is an area for learning physical education and sports. Two cemented basketball courts stand in the right corner, while the school’s football field is in the center of the area. On the left center, there are two courts for badminton and volleyball. A small garden full of flower plants surrounds the school building adding to the charm and beauty of the entire complex. I love my school very much.

In my deep thoughts, it is not only a place where greets me after strained long hours at work, brings me sweet dreams but also a friend that witnesses maturity in every step of my daily life. I have my own room since I was in 6th grade, and I would love to return to my room after a long and tired day. At first my parents decorated my room in a very simple way; they painted the walls in a clean color of white and did not place much furniture in the room. A few years later when I was a little older, I started to pay more attention to it, and now it has become a place which has a lot of my personal signs. I paint the walls in light pink, and I hang some family photos so the walls are not too empty. The monotonous bed was renewed by me; I replaced the entire bed with a new outfit that featured my favorite cartoon characters such as Sailor Moon, Doraemon and Totoro. My bed is not too wide, but I still make room for a lot of stuffed animals and pillows. They are all my best friends, and I will not be able to sleep if one of them is not present. Next to the bed is a tall pink wardrobe, there is a mirror on the front door so I can look at myself every time I get dress. In the corner of the room is a pretty desk which my dad made for me. It is white, and it also has the bookcase as well as some drawers with lockers so that I can comfortably store my personal belongings. In addition to the wooden chair which I usually use to study, there are also several small couches in the room for me to seat on while reading books or listening to music. There are also a lot of nonsense things in my room, but basically this room has everything I need. This room is my own secret cave, and I will always preserve it in the best condition

Ha Long Bay of the descending dragon - is popular with both Vietnamese and international tourists. One of the attractions of Ha Long is the Bay's calm water with limestone mountains. The Bay's water is clear during the spring and early summer. Upon arriving in Ha Long city, visitors can go along Chay beach. From the beach, they can hire a boat and go out to the Bay. It is heard that the visitors can find some of Southest Asia's most beautiful sites. Dau Go cave is one of the most beautiful caves at Ha Long.

Referring to the beautiful landscapes, places with charming water in Vietnam, it is hard not to mention Ha Long Bay. That name is well known by Vietnamese people. It is not only beautiful in the present or the future, but it is also beautiful from ancient times in the verse of Nguyen Khoa Diem: "The chicken, the toads also turn Ha Long into a landscape". Recently, Ha Long Bay has been recognized by UNESCO as one of the seven most beautiful wonders in the world. So do not know that Ha Long has what is so honored?

Ha Long Bay also has a legend that the Jade Emperor sent Mother Dragon to bring a herd of Dragons to the world to help Vietnamese fight the enemy. Enemy boats from the sea rushed ashore just as the Dragons came to earth. The Dragon immediately spewed fire to scorch the enemy, partly releasing Chau Ngoc into a towering stone wall that made the enemy boat crashed and shattered, stopping foreign progress.

Một trong những công trình tiêu biểu cho vẻ đặc sắc nghệ thuật kiến trúc Việt Nam là chùa Một Cột - Hà Tây.

Được dựng năm 1049, chùa có tên chữ là Diên Hựu, nghĩa là phúc lành dài lâu. Theo truyền tụng, sau khi Lý Thái Tông nằm mộng được Phật Bà dắt đi lên tòa sen ngự tọa, quần thần cho là điềm gở, xin vua cho xây ngôi chùa như bông sen nở trên mặt nước để cầu phúc. Quy mô chùa không nhỏ như hiện nay mà to lớn, lộng lẫy hơn nhiều. Trên một tấm bia ở chùa Long Dọi (Hà Nam Ninh dựng năm 1121 có ghi rõ điều đó).

Chùa còn có một trong bốn đại khí là Chuông Quy Điền do Ỷ Lan phu nhân cho đúc, nhưng làm xong đánh không kêu, cho là hóa khí nên để ở ruộng Mùa. Sau này, đến thếkỷ thứ XV, giặc Minh đã phá hủy để lấy đồng đúc đạn khi bị nghĩa quân Lam Sơn vây Đông Quan (Hà Nội). Không rõ chuông to lớn đến bậc nào, chỉ biết rằng để treo chuông, người ta dựng một phương đình bằng đá xanh cao 8 trượng, chuông phải nặng cỡ chục tấn.

Về sự bề thế, chùa Một cột có thể xếp vào hàng những ngôi chùa lớn của nước ta, mà ngôi chùa hiện nay qua nhiều lần trùng tu, chỉ còn phảng phất hình bóng xưa mà thôi.

Sự độc đáo của kiến trúc chùa Một Cột là toàn bộ ngôi chùa được đặt trên một cột đá cao 20m. Ởđây, có sự kết hợp táo bạo của trí tưởng tượng lãng mạn đầy thi vị qua hình tượng bông sen và những giải pháp hoàn hảo về kết cấu kiến trúc gỗ, bằng hệ thống móng giằng đặc biệt là sử dụng các cột chống chéo lớn từ cột đến sàn, vừa tạo thế vững chắc, vừa mang lại hiệu quả thẩm mỹ như đường lượt của cánh sen, thiết lập sự hài hòa giữa mái và sàn bởi một đối xứng ảo. Cùng với ao hình vuông phía dưới, có thể là biểu tượng cho đất (trời tròn, đất vuông), ngôi chùa như vươn lên cái ý niệm cao cả: “lòng nhân ái soi tỏ thế gian”, mà với quan niệm này, nghệ thuật điêu khắc cổ Việt Nam có kiệt tác: “Tượng Phụt nghìn mắt nghìn tay” - Chùa Bút Tháp.

Khối kiến trúc được phụ trợ bởi cảnh quan, có ao, có cây cối, đã tạo nên sự gần gũi, tinh khiết mà vẫn thanh tịch. Cảm giác choáng ngợp củahình tượng kiến trúc như chia sẻ, hòa đồng vào trời, nước, vào màu xanh ẩn hiện của cây, là khiến người đến rũ sạch ưu phiền để đạt tới sự thanh cao của tâm hồn.
