Thanh Tien, a village in Phu Mau Commune, Phu Vang District, is located about 10 kilometers from the centre of Hue city, opposite the ancient town of Bao Vinh. The village is famous for its traditional craft of makibg paper flowers. Local artidans skillfully makr paper flowers of different types such as lotuses, roses, orchids, apricots, gerberas, and dahlias, and of a wide range of colours. Around lubar October villagers begin making these paper flowers. They have to prepare bamboo stichks, paper and dying materials.
