Nowadays TV is one of the most popular means of entertainment and relaxation. We can see many programs on the TV: educational programs, films, cartoons, news, and so on. Some programs on TV that I have watched are Tom and Jerry, Pokemon, BBC news, etc. My favorite TV program is "The road to Olympia" :). It's a competition between geniuses, watching them answer many interesting questions fastly makes me admire them. Depending on my spare time, I watch TV. To me, watching TV is a way to relax my mind.

Almost everyone in the house will have a traditional custom. My house also has and I think everyone's customs will be similar to mine, that is, every 30 New Year's Eve my house is cleaned. Old things will be bought new to replace. And most especially, this traditional package of banh chung, banh tet, everyone must have. As soon as the cake is wrapped, we will sit together, we even stay up until night to steam the cake. Because of wrapping the cake, we sat together again and became closer. I really like this custom.

My favorite festival is Tet. Tet is the New Year's Eve moment between the old year and the new year. However, many Vietnamese women today often prefer to wear modern clothing at work, because it is more convenient. Now fashion designers want to change the traditional ao dai. Some have printed lines of poetry on the ao dai, so they look modern and very fashionable. Other designers have taken inspiration from Vietnam's ethnic minorities. They have visited villages and studied traditional designs and symbols such as suns, stars, crosses, and stripes. They have added these patterns to the ao dai, so Vienamese women can continue to wear the unique dress, which is now both traditional and fashionable.

 My favorite subject is English. The first reason I like this subject is that itis a core subject which is vital and essential in my career path. I try to learn thisinternational language well so that I can communicate with foreigners and find agood job in the future. Furthermore, learning English well can help me readbooks or magazines in English. Through reading things in English, I can beexposed to various cultures and customs. Besides, my English teacher is adedicated person who can engage me in her lessons and bring the passion for me.I found her lessons interesting because she delivered them in a way that I reallyliked. In short, English is an important subject which I am really keen on.

I learn many subjects in school. But the one I enjoy learning is History.

History helps us know what people did and how they lived ages ago. It also tells us how men had to manage to make their lives better and better.

Many learners, however, do not like to read History. They say that there are too many names and dates to remember. But they do not understand that if we know nothing about the past, we cannot have a good knowledge of the present. For example, if we wish to know how men learnt to use fire or clothes, we have to know what men did in the past to travel at night or to keep themselves warm. In fact, only a study of History will make us realize that what we do today is the result of what our ancestors did in the past. History therefore is a long story of man’s struggle through the ages. As we read the story, we are learning many interesting things.

I enjoy learning history. I have a large number of history books in my house. Some day, I might even write a history book myself.

Hello everyone! My name is Linh. I am twelve years old. My favourite programme is Mr. Bean on Cartoon Network. It on at 8 a.m and 7 p.m . In this programme, there are characters as Mr. Bean, Teddy, Irma Gobb, Mrs. Wicket- hostess of Bean and Scrapper Cat. Mr. Bean has a blue car and he love it so much. He has many trouble but he very kind.  Teddy is Teddy Bear and Bean is best friend. Irma Gobb is girl friend of Bean. Scrapper hates people, especially Bean. Even so, it still pretends to love Mrs. Wicket.  I this programme because I learn English and many useful lessons. I enjoy this cartoon.

Lunar New Year is one of the festivals celebrated in some Asian countries . It is the bigget Vietnamese festival Vietnam . It’s called “ Tet” in Vietnam . It’s usually takes place between the end of January to the beginning of February . Celebrations begins with the family gathering dinner on the New Year Eve . Every member is eager to attend this family feast . The feast usually has banh chung , banh tet , spring rolls , chicken and some other special food . The children always wears new clothes and go with their parents to visit their grandparents and relatives .
