In Vietnam, Christmas has become more and more popular, especially to young people. On this day, people often decorate their houses and prepare presents,…Even so, many households in big cities buy the Christmas tree. They prepares and decorates it with colorful electric lights, gifts and and small bells. Children also love Christmas day so much. They prepare clean stocks for receiving the presents from the Santa Claus. Under the cover of darkness on 25th December night, people often go to the church to pray for best things or gather to share happiness together. In conclusion, Christmas day has become one of the most popular festivals in our country, brings a new color to the picture of a civilized religious culture in Viet Nam.

Giáng sinh được biết đến trên toàn thế giới bởi những đặc trưng thú vị của nó. Nó diễn ra vào ngày 24 và 25 tháng mười hai nhưng bắt đầu từ đầu tháng. Ở Việt Nam, Giáng sinh trở nên phổ biến, đặc biệt là đối với giới trẻ. Vào ngày nàu\y, mọi người thường trang trí nhà cửa, chuẩn bị quà tặng. Thâm chí, nhiều gia đình ở các thành phố lớn mua cây thông Giáng sinh. Họ chuẩn bị và trang trí các đèn nhấp nháy nhiều màu sắc, quà và những cái chuông nhỏ. Trẻ em cũng rất thích ngày Giáng sinh. Chúng chuẩn bị những chiếc tất sạch để nhận những món quà từ ông già Nô-en. Trong sự bao phủ của màn đêm ngày lễ giáng sinh, mọi người thường đi đến nhà thờ để cầu nguyện cho mọi điều tốt đẹp hoặc tụ tập để chia sẻ niềm vui với nhau. Kết lại, lễ giáng sinh ngày đang trở thành một trong những ngày lễ quan trọng ở nước ta, mang đến màu sắc mới cho bức tranh tôn giáo văn hoá văn minh ở Việt Nam.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is an important traditional holiday in my country. Mid-Autumn festival is celebrated not only in Vietnam but also in some other parts of Asia as well, such as China, Japan or Korea. And it is often celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar with full moon at night. In the past, on this day the moon was brightest and roundest which represented the family reunion or gatherings. Therefore, families and friends often came together or harvested crops for the festival. Nowadays, Mid Autumn Festival is mainly for young children in Vietnam to enjoy the best time of the year. But not only can children celebrate this day but also adults can, adults who wish to have a chance to remind their their childhood and feel young again.

Và nó thường được tổ chức vào thàng 15 tháng 8 âm lịch với trăng tròn vào đêm. Trong quá khứ, vào ngày này trăng sẽ sáng và tròn nhất, thể hiện sự đoàn viên và tập hợp gia đình. Vì vậy, các gia đình và bạn bè thường đến với nhau hoặc thu hoạch hoa màu cho lễ hội. Ngày nay, Tết Trung Thu được tổ chức chủ yếu cho trẻ con tại Việt Nam để tận hưởng thời gian tốt đẹp nhất trong năm. Nhưng không chỉ trẻ con có thể ăn mừng ngày này mà người lớn cũng có thể, gồm những người lớn muốn có cơ hội để nhớ lại thuở thơ ấu của mình và cảm thấy trẻ trung trở lại.

Hello every one. My name's My, Im 11 years old, My birthday is day 21 moth 4, I study at school An Thoi 2 Primary and Secondary School, Im in grade 5/2. My family has four people,those are my parents and younger brother. My mother name is Quyen, my mother  38 years old, Her birthday is day 24 moth 12 .she is a teacher at An Thới Primary school 1, she very beautifull and she very gentle just fairies in a fairy tale . My father name is Hoang, my father 40 years old. He's very tall and athleic because he is a soldier, he very serious but he was busy at work, he used to go onbusiness trips, so I had very little time, bu every time he came back from work, I was very happy at that time I just hoped that time would stop, so beauifull I just want it to last forever. His birhday is day5 moth 7. My younger brother name is Gia Bao, He is 8 years old and he very naughty, His birhday is day 15 moth 5. He study a school An Thới 2 and secondary School, He in grade 2/3. Every day, this morning, I get up at 6:00, I brush my teeth and  wash my face, I have breakfast, I do my homework and wach TV, listen to music. In the afernoon, I eat luch ,dressing and go to school at 12:00 and I go to home at 5:00. At night I take a shower and I eat dinner, and I learn English at Edupia or study at o.l.m. I brush my teeth and go o bed at 11:00.

My name is Quang, and I am the only son in my family. I am a 4th – year law student, and I am currently studying in Ho Chi Minh City. My little family has four people, and we live in Vinh Long province. The house is always filled with my dad’s laughter, my mother’s warm voice and my sister’s playfulness.

My father is a retired police officer, and he is working as a defense education teacher in our local high school. Perhaps he had to due with years of hard training in the military; my father is finally comfortable to show his humor in the teaching environment. In the first look, he is a tough man; but actually he is very emotional and funny. Dad is a solid pillar and a great spiritual supporter for the whole family.

Un him, my mother is a gentle but strict woman. many other women, my mother always takes care and sacrifices the best things for us. She is both our close friends and tutor in study and some private problems.

My sister is going to be a high school student soon. She is doing very well at school, and she is always rewarded by the school. She starts to look a mature girl, un the little monkey that always sks to me the previous years.

This summer I cannot go home to visit my family and play with my sister because I am about to graduate. I miss them a lot, and I hope that all will be over soon so I can return home and work near my beloved family.

Bố tôi là công an về hưu, ông đang dạy giáo dục quốc phòng trong một trường cấp 3. Có lẽ vì phải trải qua những năm tháng rèn luyện nghiêm khắc trong quân ngũ, bây giờ bố tôi mới được thoải mái bộc lộ tính hài hước của mình trong môi trường dạy học. Nhìn bề ngoài, bố là người cứng rắn nhưng bên trọng lại sống rất tình cảm và vui vẻ. Bố là trụ cột vững chắc và là điểm tựa tinh thần lớn lao cho cả gia đình.

Khác với bố, mẹ tôi là người phụ nữ dịu dàng nhưng có phần nghiêm khắc. Như rất nhiều người phụ nữ khác, mẹ tôi luôn quan tâm và hi sinh những điều tốt nhất cho anh em tôi. Với chúng tôi, mẹ vừa là người bạn thân vừa là người dẫn dắt trong học tập và cả những chuyện riêng tư.

Em gái tôi chuẩn bị vào cấp 3. Cô bé học rất giỏi và luôn được nhà trường khen thưởng. Nó đã bắt đầu ra dáng một thiếu nữ chứ không còn như một con khỉ nhỏ luôn bám lấy tôi như những năm trước.

Hè năm nay tôi không về nhà để thăm gia đình và chơi với em gái được vì tôi chuẩn bị tốt nghiệp .Tôi rất nhớ nhà và mong tất cả sẽ sớm kết thúc để tôi có thể trở về quê và làm việc ở gần gia đình thân yêu của tôi.

Harry Potter is one of my favourite movies. I have loved it since it was held in the theatre years ago. Based on the best seller fiction written by JK.Rowling, the movie makes it real. This movie was about Harry Potter, he is a wizard born in the dark days of the wizardry world. His parents died in the hand of Voldemort, the dark lord. During his journey, he experienced a lot: happiness, sadness, live and death moments, etc. At last, he finally beat Voldermort and became a great auror like his parents. This movie taught me many things. The most important thing for me is that love and friendship will always be there for those who deserve it and fight for it. I’d recommend this movie for everyone.

I love watching Vietnamese movies. One of the most impressive Vietnamese films is The Age of Youth. This film has two parts. The film tells the story of Linh – the daughter of a well-off family. She loves Korean culture, so she went to Korea to live and study. Here, Linh accidentally lives with Khanh, Mai and Junsu – the son of the innkeeper. Junsu is talented in singing and dancing, handsome but naughty. This guy is Linh’s engraving. In Korea, Linh and Junsu gradually developed feelings for each other. However, Linh’s family later went bankrupt, and her mother became ill, so she returned home. Junsu is quite shocked but can not do anything else, he has focused on his work. After much has happened, Linh and Junsu eventually get back together but are opposed by Junsu’s family. Part 1 of the film closes with an open ending. In part 2, after Junsu’s mother became sympathetic to Linh, Junsu had an accident and he lost his memory. Junsu had to go to America for treatment and love another daughter. At this time, Linh was extremely sad. However, Junsu once again loves Linh, although he does not remember who she is. Gradually, Junsu regained his memories, and he remembered Ling as his first love.          Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sks scenting the air. In my family, there are four of us – my parents, my younger sister, and myself. My father is an engineer who spends most of his time at construction sites, which explains his tanned skin. When he gets home, he usually watches the news, relaxes for a bit, and then takes a shower. If my mother hasn’t cooked dinner yet, he’s happy to lend a hand. Speaking of my mother, she’s a primary school teacher who wakes up early every morning to prepare breakfast and get everything ready for my father, sister, and me. After we leave for work or school, she goes to school and then to the market to buy fresh ingredients for lunch. My family is a small one with only three members: my mother, my brother, and I. My mother is a great woman who has always taken very good care of my brother and me.Unfortunately, she is currently unemployed, but we feel secure with her at home when we are. Every morning she fixes breakfast for us, and then my brother, who is in tenth grade, either walks or rides the bus to Overfelt High School. On the other hand, I work at Micro Lamba Wireless Company, but when I am not working I study English at San Jose College. Not only do my brother and I differ in age and occupation, but we are un in personality. While I am shy and quiet, my brother is very amusing because he is always telling jokes or saying something funny. In brief, we may be just a small family, but we always spend a good time together since our mother is so caring and my brother so amusing.
