It shares land borders with Scotland to the north and Wales to the west. London is the capital of this country. As its name suggests, the English language, today spoken by hundreds of millions of people around the world, originated as the language of England. England has a strong sporting heritage.

The Americans put English into the Philippines from the beginning of the 20th century. Right now, in the Philippines there are nearly 10 different languages. In nearly 50 years in the U.S., Americans forced Phil to speak English to communicate, trade, political,... Phil has the right to fight it in different ways. But most of them learned English to be able to use English very well.

The American dollar has less than 50 years while the Spanish "owns" the Philippines to 3 centuries. So why did Phil not speak Spanish? The simplest reason is that by Americans encouraging the Filipino to learn English for economic purposes, not to force the Filipino to change religion.

In 1946, the U.S. signed but maintained a number of military bases here. Although the Americans were gone, the Filipino retained English as a second language.

According to the study entitled "Global Issues in Language Education" was announced in 1997 by Doray Espinosa of the International Language Institute of Japan, an important reason for the Filipino who continued to learn English after the Americans came out because they believed someday , the Philippines can become the 51 state of the United States.

The Filipino effort

English is used as an official language for all subjects from the elementary school to university, graduate, Ph.D. In each family, there are usually at least one of the two parents who say ultra good English. Graduated from university, graduate, Ph.D., students are required to write and protect the thesis in English.

They watch films in English, entertaining English music, telling each other in English in the family. Prior to elementary school, the majority of Filipino children have had enough vocabulary on body parts, the names of familiar animals, simple communication questions, the words of the verb, basic adjective...

And important The Filipino people always treat and speak English as a minimal thing, everyone has to do the same as cooking home. It is more motivated to people, who have also studied English.

Not only good English, Filipino people have turned English into a giant money engine that brings a profit of tens of dollars to the country.

In recent years, when learning english is becoming increasingly popular ,many people wondering that where to learn english to get the best result.It is not an amazing thing when people say that learning english at countries which use english as national language can promote studying english on the most effective,but it is not the only way. In my opinion, I totally agree with this statemnet because of some below reasons .

The first reason is when learning in an english speaking country that make an very effective studying environment.It can be seen that people can use english every time every where not only in their english class.This helps them to think about english much more and can speaking english naturally in normal life.Along with speaking english is improved clearly as well as other english skills such as listening,writing and reading.A general trend that is they might get difficultly at the first steps,but it can become a dynamic to help them overcoming and get target quickly.

In addition to this reason that living in english speaking country will make english learners know much about the native culture,so they can easily find topics to communicate with foriegners if their work asked.That makes them use english more effectively in the both normal life and work.

However,there are many countries that have quality english language courses.These courses have many native teachers or good teachers in their own country .It can be truly said that this courses can also bring too much knowledge for english leaners to get their english target,although this needs more efford and time.

From all things concerned above,we can see that depend on everyone conditions,english learners can chose learn english in an english speaking country or their own country. However,if one person have economic and time conditions,they should go to learn english at english speaking country to get best result

Learning a language is a great advantage for our lives. If we can learn language like English, we can communicate with many people from many where. Learning English in an English speaking country such as Britain, America, Australia brings many advantages to students. Firstly, you can learn with native teachers, so you can receive more pratical skills and deeper knowledge. Listening to your teachers in your classes, talking with your friends before and after school, reading books and do your homeworks, from that you can have more times to perfect your skills. Secondly, you can learn English in real life contexts. Living in a country where people living there use English in their daily communication encourages you to use English everyday. In order to communicate with them that forcing you use English very actively. You spend more time for communication and talking, your English will be better. Thirdly, you can have a native-like accent. Finally, you can have native speakers as future friends. Therefore, contacting with them can maintain your English in future. In conclusion, learning English in an English speaking country can perfect your English skills.
