My parents’ hometown is Long An, but I was born and raised up in Ho Chi Minh City. People usually call it Saigon, and it is the biggest city of Vietnam. It has a lot of fascinating buildings and constructions since it is a modern and developing city. What I love about Saigon is that all the new and old things are perfectly harmonized. Behind the skyscrapers are the small alleys which contain a slower lifestyle and traditional values. My friends and I have a lot of places to go in our free time such as Nguyen Hue walking street, Tao Dan Park, Dam Sen Water Park, Suoi Tien theme park, and many other places which tourists usually visit. Besides the view, it can be said that Saigon is one of the food heaven that people should not miss when they come to Vietnam. We can find almost all kind of Vietnamese cuisine here, and we can enjoy featuring foods on floating restaurants on Saigon River. I love Saigon a lot, because both the people and the city itself are nice to me and whoever wants to visit it.

My grandmother died many years ago.
When I was a schoolboy, she took me to school everyday. She always gave me good food, fruits and so on...
When I was a student, I live far from her so I often sent her letters to comfort her.
Then I left my hometown for an other part of country to live and in a winter afternoon I was informed that my dear grandmother had died a day before.
Oh, my dear grandmother, I love you and I miss you so much.

She’s tall, slim and especially she has a beautiful long black hair. She always smile thus everyone consider her a friendly person. My mom loves every members of the family with all her heart. She agreed to be a household woman instead of working out. My mother takes care of the household chorces. She wakes up earliest in the morning and goes to bed latest in the night. And during the day, she’s very busy. I remember once when my mother got sick so nobody did the house work and everything went to crazy. From then, my father and I join hand to help mother whenever we have free time. She’s really happy about that. When I was a kid, mom taught me to play piano at each weekend. I still remember the songs which includes many childhood’s experiences. Not only taught me to play piano, she also taught me to be a better human. I love the moral stories that she told me before I fell asleep every night. We’re really appreaciate mother’s effort, patient and her hard work to conserve the family’s happiness. My mother is an indispensable part of my life. When I grow up, I want to be a woman her.

My mother is a person I admire most. She devoted a lot of time and energy to the upbringing of my two brothers and I. Despite working hard, she always made time to teach us many useful things which are necessary and important in our later lives. Moreover, she is a good role model for me to follow. She always tries to get on well with people who live next door and help everyone when they are in difficulties, so most of them respect and love her. I admire and look up to my mother because she not only brings me up well but also stands by me and gives some help if necessary. For example, when I encounter some difficulties, she will give me some precious advice to help me solve those problems. She has a major influence on me and I hope that I will inherit some of her traits.

Whoever you are, you have the right to dream of your future job. I also have one. That is my desire to become a teacher. Just thinking of my job, I feel so happy.

My friends often ask me that: “Why do you choose teaching?”. I smile. I choose this job, because I love children so much. I want to take care of them, teach them how to read, how to write, how to listen and show them the beautiful things of this life.

Teaching is similar to growing a tree up, you must have patience,  carefulness, and passion. And one of the important reasons that makes me choose this job is my parents. They hope that I can complete your dream.

In Viet Nam, the salary of a teacher is quite low, but I still want to become a teacher, simply because  I love this job and I believe in my love, as well as my passion for this job. In the future, I will become a good teacher. And now, I’m trying my best to complete the program in university to make my dream come true.

Spare parts Corinthians ... spare spare Corinthians Corinthians ... "New evening, everywhere was busy drumming, music to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival night. Everyone is eagerly waiting for the moment to receive the lights, break the deck. On stage, Cuoi and Ms. Hằng were laughing and laughing to start the night, and the children performed the funny mid-autumn songs one after the other, we sat in a line, waving and singing along. sky, Mr. Moon was bright and round a silver tray. Mid-Autumn Festival, without you, he would be very sad. It seems that he knew, the children were happy, so the more he climbed up, poured more light To the ground, the stars' lights on our hands are more sparkling thanks to the moonlight, and a drum beats to signal the beginning of the lion dance. Our robes were bright red, and they just jumped and curled up, we stood around to watch and sing, "Mid-Autumn Festival, welcoming the moon-lamp ..." We also had a lot of candy to eat. I hope the autumn will come soon so I can pick the lights up again Besides writing a paragraph about the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, students need to learn more about other compositions such as Writing a paragraph about the festival or Writing a paragraph about the fun of the festival to consolidate their knowledge.

Traditional festivals and celebrations always play a significant role in Vietnamese culture. Besides Tet festival, the biggest and the most important celebration for Vietnamese people, the Mid-Autumn Festival, or also known as the Moon Festival or the Children’s Festival, is also a special time in the year. It’s usually held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Vietnamese lunar calendar. This special celebration is mostly embraced by children as they will have an opportunity to dress in beautiful clothes with attractive and colorful lanterns of various sizes, shapes and designs in their hands, ready for a grand procession around their neighborhood. Traditionally, lanterns signify the wish for the light and warmth. The adults also feel extremely happy as they see the radiant look on their little angels’ faces in the parades. However, the Mid-Autumn Festival is more an occasion for outdoor reunions among friends and relatives to eat mooncakes and watch the moon, a symbol of harmony and unity. This is also a special time for the traditional values and precious memories and life stories to be shared and handed/ passed down from generation to generation. Performances of dragon and lion dances are also a familiar sight on the streets when the moon is full. I really enjoy this traditional festival as this is the chance for me as well as other adults to relive our treasured childhood and a great occasion to strengthen our family ties and help the younger people to better cherish the important cultural values.

vietnam is famous with its traditional and delicious dishes. All of them easioly bring to anyone's mouth indeed, but as myself, I enjoy spring rolls best. Spring rolls are lightly fried rice - paper rolls, smaller and crispier than Chinese egg rolls but more flavorful. They are filled with highly seasond morsels of crab, shrimp, chopped vegetables, onion, mushroom, vermicelli and eggs. To prepare them, place the above mentioned filling on a thin rice pancake, roll up then fry. Finally, spring rolls, when fully prepared, are wrapped into somes kinds of fresh vegetables, then doused in fish sauce. My mother ussually cooks spring rolls for me, espeicially on important days in year, such as Tet holiday. when I eat them, i feel all of my mother's love that she reserves for me. To me, they're like the most speicial dish in this world.

Refer:My eating habit distinguishes me from other people. In the morning I drink a cup of warm honey lemon liquid, which is really good for digesting. Then I eat some rye bread and drink a cup of plain milk. For lunch I eat chicken breast because it's rich in protein. I also eat some vegetables such as spinach and lettuce. In the evening I eat fruit and yogurt. Sometimes I eat a bar of chocolate and then go to bed.

- What are you doing this weekend?

- Do you have anything going on this weekend?

- Do you have any big plans for the weekend?

- Do you have anything planned for this weekend?

- I'm driving to Baltimore with a friend.

- I've got a date lined up. (Tôi vừa lên lịch hẹn hò).

- Francine and I are taking the kids to the zoo.

- I don't have anything planned. (Tôi không có kế hoạch nào cả).

- I'll probably just stay at home and relax. (Có lẽ tôi sẽ chỉ ở nhà và thư giãn).

- I just want to sleep in!

Enjoy your weekend!

Have a great weekend!

See you next week.
