A semester ended after I took the final exam of term 1 yesterday. During the past three months, I studied very hard and seriously. In class, I always listen attentively to the teacher's lecture. At home, I always do my homework properly and carefully. When there are difficult or unclear lessons, I will ask an adult to explain them to me. Thanks to that, I have had good achievements, much improved compared to grade 2. Especially in English. Now, I can read and write very well, many times praised by her. This subject has now become my favorite subject. However, I will not stop there. In the second semester, I will try harder, to achieve more and better results.

When we start our studies, all of us already have different kinds of study skills. Our motivation springs from different sources, as does our general attitude to our studies. Nevertheless, regardless of where we are coming from, we need to take many things into consideration in our studies. Study success requires clear objectives, motivation, planning, self discipline, self confidence, good study habits and a positive attitude. Being physically fit is also helpful. My favourite country is Japan. It is in Asia. Its capital is Tokyo. There are about 126 millions people living in Japan. The weather there is similar to that in Hong Kong. But, in Japan, the typhoons are mainly in autumn. Besides, it would be snowing in winter there. You can find many interesting things in Japan. I think the most interesting thing is Sado, the Way of Tea. It is a means of training concentration of spirit and of learning manners. For the interesting food in Japan, it should be Sushi. Sushi is a traditional Japanese food made with rice and vinegar. I it very much. On the other hand, one of the special scenery in Japan is hot spring. Generally, people think that the water in the springs is hot. However, in Japan, there are some springs of cold water. In Hong Kong, many people traveling in Japan. It is because there are various tourist spots. In the Tokyo Disneyland, there is the  "Disney's Dreams on Parade". It is based on the theme of dreams and features of the Disney characters, Mickey Mouse. After hearing my introduction of Japan, do you want to go to Japan too?

Last year, I went to visited London, there was many fashion shops,

schools, playgrounds,... But I to go to the cinema.There was my favourite

film: Z-O-M-B-I-E-S.The first I go to the cinema is the first I went visited London.

It was great and excited to visit here. Everybody should go to London

All of my family s different kinds of sports, though not all of them plays sports. For example, my father s playing volleyball. He always plays it with his friends in the stadium. My mother s playing badminton. She used to play it two years ago, but now she just can watch a badminton match on TV. My brother favourite sport is football. In the afternoon, he always plays football with his team on the square. My favourite sport is going cycling. I often go cycle with my friends  in my free time. 

My favorite hobby is playing football in spare time. After completing my home work at home, I generally spend my lot of free time in playing football. I was so interested to play football from my childhood however started learning to play well when I was 5 years old. I was in one class when I was 5 years old. My father asked to my class teacher in the PTM about my hobby of football. And my teacher told him that there is a facility of playing sports daily in the school from class 1 so you can admit your child. Now, I really enjoy playing football and paripate in the inter-school competitions.

However, I have a lot of free time at weekends, so I usually spend it relaxing to prepare for a coming busy week. First of all, in my free time, I like playing some sports, such as soccer, badminton or basketball, with my friends.

Sport not only makes me stronger but also connects me with my friends who have the same hobbies. We sometimes go riding so that we can combine sporting activities and sightseeing. If the weather is not fine enough for me to hang out with my friends, I like to read books. I have a big bookshelf with many kinds of books but I prefer science books.

Tet is a national festival in Vietnam,  many Vietnamese people love it. Tet is celebrated in the January of lunar calendar to welcome the new year. Before Tet, people buy food, fruits, drink, flowers, and the most important is the peach blossom or kumquat tree. Children are bought new clothes by their parents.  On New Year's Eve, all of the family members gather to give each other the best wishes and have a meal. During Tet, people can go to the parks, stadiums to see fireworks, it is very beautiful. Children can receive lucky-money from parents and relatives. I like staying at home to watch the New Year's comedies, it makes me laugh a lot.  On the next day, people go to the temple to thank the ancestors, Buddha who helped everyone in the old year. In short, I really love Tet, and I hope that Tet will always be an important festival for Vietnamese people.

There are many fesivals in a year in my country , but Tet is the most important celebration in Viet Nam . It occurs in late January or ealry February . Some day before Tet , people clean and decorate their houses . They go shopping to buy some sweets , cakes , new clothes and many other things .
