I have a bestfiend and also a neighborhood whoes name is Tuan. His age is the same as mine but he looks older than me. Because he’s very tall and thin, everybody calls him “a palm”. Tuan has a short curly hair and beautiful chestnut brown eyes that appeal of many girls. He is a person of very few words that makes him to be a good listener. Anyone, who has ever contacted with Tuan, thinks about him as a glacial boy. In fact he’s really warm and nice. He’s willing to help people whenever possible. When I was in secondary school, I found Math was very difficult to understand but Tuan solved the Math problems so fast. He spent all seven nights of weeks to help me in Math while he could go out to relax. Tuan was a good all-rounder exception English. Most of the teachers in school and parents highly appreaciated his talent. Only a month ago, he received two full scholarships from America Government to study oversea but he has not yet decided whether he should go or not. Although he has not spent much time to take part in sport activities, he is a well football player. We were in Ha Noi Young Football Team when we were in grade 10. Everything seems perfect to my bestfriend but he’s very modest and always talks to himself to give more effort. I’m proud of Tuan and pray for the good things beside him forever.

After stress and pressure in life, one always has a place to come back called home. I love decorating my own bedroom. My bedroom is on the second floor near my parents’ bedroom. There is a double bed for my younger sister and me. I usually lie above her so that it is easier for me to study late at night without annoying her. The room has a big wood wardrobe, which contains all of our clothes such as: dress, jean, t-shirt and sock. Beside, my mother bought us a dressing table on my 15^th birthday; therefore, I put all the makeup-stuff and bandeau here. In the corner stand a large bookshelf in order to store books, academic document as well as family passe-partout. Next to it is a table with a desktop so as to help us investigate more knowledge on the internet. My sister and I really enjoy decorating the room with sker such as: mickey, boo bear, hello kitty, angry bird and so on. Beside, we also sk glow-in-the-dark tape on the ceiling and it turn out to light when darkness comes. Moreover, the room is designed with pink and deep blue so it brings us cozy and fresh feeling when putting step into it. The bathroom is in my room too. It is quite small but always clean and restful as we tidy it up every week. My father suggests having a bathtub; however, we don’t agree since we enjoy having a shower instead of lying in tub. Bedroom is a resting place after a hard studying day; hence we always clean it up so that it is neat and comfortable.

Me and Minh Anh have been close friends since childhood. Minh Anh's figure is high, your chubby, full face is also lovely. Dark skin tone. Long hair. The black eyes are always open and round like two marbles. The upturned nose and wide smile always reveal two shiny white teeth. The house is quite large and comfortable. It has 4 floors and a terrace roof. There is also a small garden between the garage and the house, where I usually played football when I was a kid. In addition, my mother designs a terrace vegetable garden on the rooftop, which makes the house more green. The house has enough room for our daily activities. There are 8 rooms in the house: one living room, one TV room, one kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms, all of those are equipped with modern facilities like dishwasher, electric fire, games console . Family support is a strong advantage to me, helps me alleviate difficulties in studying. I hope in the future, I will have my own house like that.

Trước sân nhà ngoại trồng cây xương rồng tay tiên rất to. Nó đứng đó xanh sẫm, im lìm như một hình nhân. Gốc cây hình trụ, đã hơi hóa gỗ. Từ cái gốc vững chãi ấy mọc lên những cành xương rồng to bản, hình trứng, dẹp và nạc, chia thành từng khúc, thuôn hình trứng, có cành dài tới hơn 20cm. Trên đó, chi chi những gai sắc và nhọn.

   Từ dầu những cành cây gai góc đó, mọc tiếp lên những cành xương rống non, lúc đầu be bé như những chiếc muỗng canh rồi cứ to dần, to dần và ngày càng trở nên cứng cáp. Rồi cũng tù những cành cây đầy gai đó, mọc lên những bông hoa màu đỏ tươi, xinh xắn và nổi bật trên thân mẹ xanh sẫm, trông chúng như những đốm lửa nhỏ xíu.

   Mẹ bảo bà thích xương rồng bởi loài cây này có một khả năng chịu đựng phi thường. Sức sống dẻo dai của nó thật đáng để con người cúi đầu khâm phục. Có lẽ, để chứng minh cho lời nói, cây xương rồng vẫn đứng đó, mặc những ngày nắng chói chang và khô rát của phương Nam, cây vẫn không kém đi phần tươi tốt. Dường như cây càng tươi hơn, ngoan cường hơn và sắc hoa cũng như đỏ hơn.
